Mar & Apr 2042.
League 2. The less said about our run-in the better I think. We needed just 1 point in our last game against Aldershot who were 20th at the time. We didn't get 1 point.
Ouch.

Amazingly still only two points from 3rd place, though. Anything can happen!

I would be happy if some midfielders managed one goal in 5. And you are disappointed in that ratio for a GK... Different worlds
Chilavert and Campos are probably the most famous scoring keepers. According to Wikipedia, they scored on average every 12.7 and 16.4 matches, respectively. Some managers are just never statisfied...
( But seriously, I love me a good scoring GK myself. I always have my own keepers play SK attack and take all penalties and free kicks in all my saves. )

Just found this thread (loved the GIFs in Singapore!).
It will be interesting to see you trying to win La Liga in FM20 while everyone else is playing FM25 or thereabouts...

Greuther Fürth have quite a bit of history too. They did win three championships, although the last one was almost a century ago. It will be interesting to see if you can take them (back) to the top and challenge that Munich-club-which-shall-not-be-named for the top spot, in Bavaria and Germany. Good luck!

You're certainly living up to the title of the thread.
And I mean that in the best possible way. It's actually a relief to see someone fail - or even just perform adequately. It's nice to know I'm not the only one who doesn't achieve quick and wildly unrealistic success in my saves.
So keep up the mediocre work. It's entertaining to follow!

Thanks @dllu. Haha, that guy looks like he's is a living legend in Midtylland I'm going to have go to the Danish league now, just to get a suit to match Geln Riddersholm
He is actually the manager of "my" team SønderjyskE now and just won us the cup for the first time. So I couldn't stand him when he was at Midtjylland, but now I'm beginning to like him...

As a Dane I'm always interested when people try their hands at the Danish league (although gutted to see that my team SønderjyskE have been relegated!).
Nice progress so far.
It's a bit funny, though, to see them described as being from the "area of Frederiksberg, Capital region".
Frederiksberg is its own municipality for historical reasons, but it is situated right in the heart of Copenhagen and is essentially a borough or neighbourhood like any other in the city. Although the residents are generally a bit wealthier (and a lot more conservative) than in neighbouring, traditionally left-wing Nørrebro.

Koci looks insane!
KUTGW, great progress so far.

Looking forward to seeing you in the Danish league at some point. And just so you know what standards you have to live up to, this is a real photo of manager Glen Riddersholm from when Midtjylland won the championship in 2015:

Interesting idea - I had no idea about this "quirk" of Belgian football. Looking foward to seeing how far you can go!

As a fan of HSV and the Karate Kid, what's not to love about this save?

Seeing as you'll probably go through another 50 seasons or so before FM19, I definitely see a European adventure on the cards...

I would say your treble counts for slightly more than Man City's quadruple...

I know it's a real surname, but am I the only one who thinks Greatorex sounds like a character from Asterix?

And historically to really get into a save I have to develop an attachment to a club, how would I do this say in Norway as @withnail316 and @Rikulec suggested
To me that tends to happen automatically when I spend some time at a club in a country I don't have any relation to. I (loosely) follow teams IRL only because I once managed them on FM...

They just miss out, Premier League requirement is 12,500 and Plymouth's ground holds 12,000.
In that case it has apparently been downgraded in your save:

Plymouth Argyle has a Premier League standard ground. But whatever.

Almost guaranteed to be your highest finish ever. And not that far from the top 6, so looking good for next season as well!

Port Vale are right on your tail, so chances are you won't even concede the most goals this season!

Great Championship debut. And you broke the 100 goal mark! Sort of.

Good luck in Iceland! And the name of KR's ground means "Field of Champions", so no pressure...
