  1. I love this! The first libero-tactic that I really works. One note: I struggle a bit to get the stirkers running. I've used it for two seasons with Arsenal and play Auba/Laca in front of Ozil+Miki. Even Ozil outscored Auba last season..
  2. I feel like the computer "learns how you play" if you play too similar all the time. The main reason was to make it different from the 4-4-2 where I dont have many instructions. I wanted one quick, attacking tactic and one more patient, possession based tactic, but I change them up from time to time just to get some variation.
  3. Hehe, I just had to! I also picked up Alderweireld a few seasons ago, but I sold after last season as he turned 34. Bought Alli at deadline day last summer and Sp*rs just escaped relegation as they didnt have the time to find a replacement.
  4. Here are the league tables: .. And then the last season that went very well. I also won EL first season, 4 CLs with one runner-up where I lost the final to Barca. The tactics have of course varied a bit over the seasons, but I've mainly played a wide 4-3-3, but now I got two amazing regen wingers that made me develop a 4-4-2 with regular wingers as well. Now I rotating between the two:
  5. Its hard to pick one of Junior and and Kean. They have been absolutely amazing both of them. I add screenshots of them if you consider to buy any of them: If I have to pick one, I have to say Kean. Scoring for fun now, but I play him as an IF on the left and Junior as a winger on the right is its kind of understandable that his tally is better. Both of them are extremely good, so if you can pick any of them up I would say its a no-brainer. They teared the league apart last season, with just one annoying loss against Leicester:
  6. The regens are about to take over, with this guy leading the line: Of real players I have Moise Kean, Vinicius Junior and Malcom playing out wide in a 4-3-3.
  7. Just sold Lacazette after 194 games, 185 goals and 45 assists across all comps. What a player he has been for me over the last seasons!
  8. That was my thought as well, the IWB does offer that, but he will also cut inside to outnumber centrally when the winger stays wide.
  9. Yes, I play 4-3-3 and 4-4-2 with Kolasinac/Monreal-Koscielny-Mustafi-Bellerin/Chambers in a IWB(s)-CD(d)-BPD(d)-IWB(s) system which works very well for me.
  10. For me it workes much better with IF/IW at one side and a winger on the other side. And Laca has more goals+assists than games over five seasons for me as CF(a). You might get too exposed at the back with both wingbacks on attack? And Savic is a beast as BBM. He scored for fun for me from CM in the beta. That will also give you slightly more support in defense. Its a bit wierd, but after looking on the tactics shared in the download section, IWB seems to be very overpowered in the game atm. If you play a left footed on the left and vice versa they will still provide widt, but they tend to keep possession much better. But anyways, its strong of you to win the league first season!
  11. It sounds like you've found the right formation then!
  12. If you try to replicate IRL, I would say Ramsey is more like a mezzala than a BBM. Arsene might want to play him as a BBM, but as he continually "forgets" his defensive duties he ends up like a mezzala anyways. I would say Xhaka play DLP(d). That gives him the creative freedom to pass, but he stays deep in his position. You might go for a carrilero when you play Coq/Elneny as they do more of the dirty work and are less creative? Its an attacking duty, but I would maybe say that Özil is pushed forward in a trequarista role in the new system. Its often him that launches counter attacks and he fills up the box to attack the pull backs from Bellerin/Kolasinac. I think the T will be more mobile that an AP as well.
  13. If you need wingers, Malcom have the same issue as Alexis. He doesnt renew his contract and get cheaper every season until he goes on a free if no one picks him up. He is very good and can play both flanks, but I think he is still expensive after one season. Abouchabaka is also one to look after, he is amazing for me!
  14. Good point! It definitely doesn't need tweaking to improve the results, it was just an idea to switch up the style of play. The only thing that bothers me with the tactic is that every goal I concede (except for 2nd leg CC where my defenders decided not to show up) have been coming in the opening minutes means that I have been chasing all those games from behind. I dont know if thats just random with such a short period of testing. Anyways, I felt like I had to share the results when they were that successful. Great work, thumbs up from me! I changed my CBs to BPD btw, but thats just because it suits my CBs better. Dont think that affected the results that much.
  15. He is turning into a monster at the left for me! Homegrown as well as he joined at the age of 18. Do you really need Zivkovic as well? Haven't tried him myself, but he's at Real Madrid at my save so I guess he is pretty decent. Fernandes is average, but if you like Benfica talents, take a look at Joao Felix.
  16. Wanted to change things up a bit. I've been playing 4-1-2-3 wide for the last four seasons so the idea of this tactic was pretty similar to what I was playing before. That meant that I started with the familiarity almost at max, but anyways; the results were great! This is the first "screen" after I changed tactic midseason: I liked how the IWB worked! I've only tried combinations of WB/CWB when I've played a narrow 4-3-3, but as you said, very good both forward and defending. One note: Have you tried to play a front-line like DLF(s)-DLF(a)-DLF(s) with a left footed player on the right and a right footed on the left? I imagine that will be more like playing with inside forwards.
  17. I used him in the AP(s) slot and he performed very well for me! Scored some screamers from long range as well, but after the second season Bayern came in and offered almost 100m for him so I had to let him go.
  18. I always try that "talk to player" option when I transferlist them without any offers. As all the deadwood are on huge (overpriced) contracts it seems to help a lot to say that you will not registrer them for the league next season. Then they seem to accept a paycut and you get better offers. The one and only! I have had him on loan, but he didnt improve. Tried to sell him last summer, but no one wanted him so he went out on loan one more time. I havent been given him any first team football so its hard to tell, but I think he will preform a little bit better for me than if I sold him to a team he doesnt know. I dont think this have any affect on a players' attributes, only his level of performance, if that was what you meant.
  19. I dont know what happened to Nelson and Jeff. They were 5 and 4,5 star potential at the start of the beta, but when I started after full release they are 3 and 3,5. I have had them both out on loan for two seasons now as I hoped they would improve, but nothing really happened to them. The rest of the academy is mainly crap. I keep registrering Virginia as second GK as he is homegrown and he actually did pretty decent at a period where Cech was injured, but his stats are nothing special though. I picked up this guy from RBL for 4,2m in the first transfer window as he was on jr contract and he's about to turn into a beast: He had 5 star potential at the beginning so he kind of got in front of both Nelson and Jeff in the pecking order for cup-games.
  20. Its how familiar the players are to play with each other. Its connected with the new dynamics feature, I think(?). If you do little rotations, or do the same rotations the players connect better with each other. They learn each other movements that makes it easier to pick out passes and so on. Its hard to tell how much differense it makes in the midfield, but goals conceded was significantly reduced after the partnership between Laporte and Toby became green. I run the same rotated team in cup games that has the same kind of familiarity: I dont know excactly, but it seems to improve the results.
  21. I play like this where I started with Alexis and Walcott on the flanks, Monreal at LB, Kos (as a normal CD) and Mustafi at CB and Ramsey in the Mezzala role. I felt like it must have been made for Ramsey when they made a BBM-role where the player "tend to forget their defensive duties" so I had to test it out. And he was amazing there picking up 8 goals and 10 assists in 25 games the first season! The only first team regular I bought in the first summer window was Danilo Pereira from Porto for 20-25mill and he's an absolute beast! The only player you need to retrain is Özil back to CM, but he learned that quickly at my save. Won EL first season and CL in the second season. Lacazette broke Henrys' goalscoring record with 41 goals in 35 games (all comp). He is crazy in that CF(a) position with Bellerin and Walcott (now Junior) feeding crosses from the right. I bought Laporte in Jan for the Alexis money and Alderweireld was transferlisted at the end of the season so I had to take "a Campbell" on him (he even scored at the Lane hehehe). De Gea requested to be tansferlisted after season two for some reason. Had to pay around 94m for him though, but I just had to buy him when I had the chance.
  22. Got Abouchabaka first season for around 2,5 mill as he's on jr contract and he's doing great!
  23. Its because their contracts in England started before the new Brexit system took place
