  1. Funny idea for an experiment. I admit I'm not that well-versed in Christian mythos but this seems really interesting. I have a feeling most of the demons will end up somewhere plastic.
  2. Yay! Sims are more fun than real games anyway
  3. I notice that FM15 and 16 are officially available on Amazon. Will FM17 be available when it comes out, and will sales on it apply?
  4. Thinking about signing this Mitsuki Sato? Would be interesting... Also, good to see two Israeli teams in the Europa groups. Are coefficients more flexible with all the loaded leagues? How's Israel's?
  5. God, that Jacopo Casadei is insane. Shame it didn't come to anything, but maybe like Tim Howard he'll be immortalized for those saves.
  6. I have to say I really love how deep this thread has gotten into FM the game, FM the computer program, and FM the realistic simulation of world football. It's fascinating and admirable how much y'all have figured out prompted only by San Marino and youth only games.
  7. I like that you've signed so many players of different nationalities. Surprised so many Japanese players would want to come to NEC.
  8. Wow, what a save so far! Had me hooked straight from the beginning. Hope all keeps going well in France--maybe a decent shot in Europe is soon to come. I like the slower pace a lot, too. Gets a good sense of your ~universe~ going. I hope your Portuguese youth prospects are developing well.
  9. What a save you've had so far! I'm really impressed you got a Maldives player to actually join a big European league. Let's hope Ibrahim stays around there, and doesn't take some lofty deal in China to sabotage your Asian Cup run
  10. Definitely a very engaging read. I know very little about Scotland's team, but I think the mid-2000s attempts will be very interesting. Can you win the Euros over Greece?
  11. Is Euro qualification still weirdly glitched to have teams with terrible results go through to the playoffs? It really bothers me in FM15.
  12. LOL at the USA losing to Tunisia. Good show from all the World Cup players, though! It would be nice for van Aarde to win the Netherlands' first World Cup, but that's one down out of most likely three chances... Also, I loved your text commentary for the group stage performances. Simple but effective.
  13. Van Aarde finally winning the Premier League! Only took him three seasons, lol. I'm really happy to see him playing a ton. Doesn't look like he got any Champions League games this year, though.
  14. Gatti <3 Undoubtedly the best striker you've ever had. Does his record hold up for the national team at all?
  15. Michael's on some insane wages. He's come a long way from that slump second season at FNS.
  16. Van Aarde with a Champions League trophy! :D Did he play in the final? I notice those 3 goals...but also that red. I'm glad to see good play in the Euros, too--really good play, though to lose at the quarterfinals to Ireland of all teams really sucks. I know they've been great on occasion, but still. No offense to Killian. Other Euro notes: quality tournament for Georgia. Spain really let a fairly light group get away from them, and Austria too. Also, even though it shouldn't be shocking, it is kind of surreal to see someone you basically created listed in the same team as Memphis Depay.
  17. Luca Gatti is on some next-level stuff. I really hope you can make it to the CL groups sometime--all this slow grind would be worth it.
  18. God bless Football Manager's weird World Cups, even in the closest of years. Germany getting upstaged by a decent African side would be a pleasure to watch, even though I love the German national team. Not too thrilled about van Aarde's move (1. it's England, 2. it's Chelsea), but at least he's continuing to do well.
  19. Eh, great experiments come and go. I don't think this one dying is that big of a deal--I have just as much fun with my own fake knockout tournaments.
  20. Goodness, Michael, what'd Wolfsburg put into you? Insane first season, but I'm really glad to see it. I love that assists record. Plus, it's nice to see him tie down to a senior national side, even if I was hoping he'd go for NZL.
  21. Shame for Michael to have a dip in form that led to a 5th-place finish for support, considering he was doing really well last year. I guess it was harder for him to adapt to a higher level of play. That said, I'm glad it happened, because he gets to go to Wolfsburg--kind of a mid-level club where he'd have to prove his worth but also not one where it'd be impossible to do anything like Barca, Atleti or PSG. Plus it puts him closer to his Dutch parents' roots.
