  1. I ran the 23 and 24 editors at the same time when I was doing my db this year, so I don't think the functionality has been abolished. Try re-installing maybe?
  2. Thanks so much for asking anitamui. The short answer is, not as CONCACAF currently operates in game. The longer answer is - because at least three competitions (Canadian Championship, MLS, and the Leagues Cup) cross boundaries, there are a number of weird, hardcoded continental rules for CONCACAF. It makes it hard to create mods for the CONCACAF club competitions, because if you miss something it can still verify and then just not appear in game - I actually a couple of weeks plus this year because I made a continental competition for my mod and it just wouldn't show up in game. This reality makes me reluctant to put in the time and effort into it if it isn't something I'm interested in or going to use. So, again, thanks for asking, but I won't be doing that for 24 - we'll see if there are changes in 25 that make it more manageable.
  3. Assuming you have access to the FM 23 editor, you can take a look at my file to see how I had teams dropping between competitions and skipping rounds. It's a finicky process that would take a while to explain - you're probably best just copying something like this. CONCACAF Continental Competitions - 4 Cups and Drop DownsB.fmf
  4. Also, I just updated the files for the 24.4 database, and made a few changes: 24.4 Updates (4/11) The big one this time - levels 1-7 now have formal opening and closing stages. The winner of the stages win automatic promotion - if the same team wins both stages then 2nd and 3rd in the overall table have a playoff to determine who goes up. Relegation is based off of the overall table. I gave each team a modest starting budget, added managers to most teams, and added players to teams in levels 2-7, so you should have some players at an appropriate level for the league when you play a team lower down the pyramid. You will still want to check the add players box though. I made levels 1-7 playable by default because of the lower league bug. I added a lot of local media to the US database - you should have 10-15 outlets at your news conferences going forward. I registered the appropriate clubs from the US, Canada, and Mexico for the Continental Cups. I tried to add a CONCACAF Cup Winners Cup in the spring, but I couldn't get the game to set it up. So, we will call it good for this year and try again in FM 25.
  5. Yeah... unfortunately that happens every time they update the database to created teams and clubs - they change the uids and it's a bit of work to get it sorted afterwards. Here is the updated logos: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1P8lXj21olEcrQRyqsO-1Wc5KTwao_t_F/view?usp=drive_link. That file also contains the kits for the created clubs, so they should appear in game correctly.
  6. Also, to follow up - I had a division between levels 0-4 and 5-9 in my database - the immersive deadline should work for levels 0-4, but not 5-9. Does it need to be activated for all divisions in the nation on a day?
  7. Hi Zach - thanks for the post. Is this in the advanced rules ->transfer menu, or in another part?
  8. I was going to suggest the same thing - my US pyramid has regional cups, and I use secondary divisions to set it up. It really is the way to go, especially since you can't pick specific teams in the editor.
  9. The description covers it - I have the immersive deadline day checked on the transfer windows for the top five levels of my US database, but it isn't loading in the game. I'll upload the editor file below so you can load it and test it. This feature did work in 22 and 23, so I'm curious about what changed in 24. I also didn't see it covered anywhere else in the thread, so hopefully I'm not repeating an issue that is already known. USA - CEUD - open.closetestdeadline.fmf
  10. I think you'll have to do some work in the advanced editor to make it work. Each of the teams from your competitions need to qualify for the next stage in the same season, and there isn't a way to set that up in the basic version of the db. You can take a look at my concacaf db to see what it can look like.
  11. HI editor friends - I have a quick question. Is it possible to expand the number of teams in a division when it is a parent competition? For my US database I added 4 teams per parent competition (2 per child competition) to my top four levels. I have adjusted the ranking levels for each of the child competitions in the database, and changed the required teams to match. However, whenever I go to try to verify, I get this error message: Below is the required teams: I can't find an editable option in the to increase the number of teams in the parent competition. So far I have tried adding the parent competition to the required competitions screen (which causes there to be twice as many teams as their should be), setting a required 36 teams in the teams option in the parent competition (does not have an impact), and going to flexible format rules, but I can't find the option to make the game acknowledge the larger child divisions (does not have an impact.) I can't find another option - any help would be appreciated - thanks all! USA - CEUD - open.closeexpand.fmf
  12. HI mrfaber, I think you actually need to do both. In stage 0, under fate actions, I would add a new rule that looks like this; I would try editing the teams in stage 1 by adding rules like this: I would use that as a starting point - I think it would create a link between your stage 0 and stage 1 for your teams.
  13. I don't actually - the MLS is such a Gordian knot of rules that I just follow Alexander the Great's example (slice it to bits and move on.) Sorry I can't be more help with that - my guess though is that you need to look either in additional helpers or somewhere in the roster rules. If you have a previous version of the editor you could load up an fm23 database with the MLS advanced rules, and compare it to yours.
  14. Yes - the expansion MLS franchises are hardocded MLS for a couple years after they enter the game. This year is the first year the issue doesn't affect Miami, Charlotte, Nashville and Austin. My preferred workaround is to make a copy of the team and insert it in its place, then make the old team extinct (and label it as such.) I'd wait until the 24.4 update to do that though, as you manually have to move players otherwise.
  15. I think you need to create an aggregated table stage, and then use the qualification rules to promote the top team. You can do that all in advanced rules - take a look at Peru's rules if you want to see how to create an aggregated table.
  16. This is a very helpful update - thanks Zachary. I'll look forward to it being addressed going forward!
  17. Here is my editor file, if that helps with tracking stuff down. USA - CEUD.fmf
  18. Can you post your editor file so we can take a look?
  19. Also also - it looks like the homegrown player issue is pretty wide spread, so I removed (or modified) the homegrown rules for the US, Canadian, and Mexican Dbs. You can find them attached below. USA - CEUD - No HG.fmf Mexico - CEUD - No HG.fmf Canada - CEUD - No HG Rules.fmf
  20. HI Akasha! There is a thread below that covers the same issue. I think it's impacted a number of folks, which is really unfortunate. Thanks for raising it here though! )
  21. Welcome to hotel editor - which, like hotel California, you will never leave. 😂 the thing I find easiest in this situation is to save my database, reload the database and then load up the rules of the country I want to copy, take screenshots of how SI has it set up (so I can easily replicate it) and then reload my database and add the feature. I did this with several things I copied from the English pyramid when I made my US database for the first time a couple years ago. Now I just make vanilla saves of the big 5 (and usually a couple South American competitions) at the start of the development cycle and have them for reference as I make my dbs. so, try loading a vanilla German database (with basic rules), look at the promotion rules for the Bundesliga, and see if you can copy it into yours.
  22. I just checked, and in my game ALL players have lost home grown status - both club and nation have been removed.
  23. Also, a quick note (as I just loaded up my save from 24.1) - it looks like there is a bug in the newest data update that wipes out homegrown statuses of players in long term saves. You can post your experience in this thread to help highlight the issue for SI: https://community.sigames.com/bugtracker/football-manager-2024-early-access-bugs-tracker/all-other-issues/all-players-lost-their-homegrown-status-r22164/.
