v22.3.0 is what has been delivered in this current build

In my FM experience its unlikely to get any significant ME build changes in the xx.4.0 build other than potentially key bug fixes brought in by the xx.3.0 build

In my humble view the ME is now one of the best ME builds with the exception of the pass completion elevated % statistics which will likely require a new FM version to adjust. There will of course always be improvements to be highlighted and resolved.

SI are victims of possibly their own success in that standards have risen and so expectation has risen, that's a good thing because FM evolves to continued higher standards each time but our expectations also rise.

Clear, concise and exampled bug reports will be the way to improve FM from a user perspective. Improvement suggestions also will help

Appreciate the detail. I'll give it a try and see how it goes

  2. Situation:

    1) I offer £20m for player, club accepts

    2) I negotiate contract with player, player accepts

    3) another club offers £30m for player

I am now unable to match the £30m offer.

    I now have 3 options:

    1) Withdraw transfer offer -> make new bid amount -> "Player not interested in restarting contract talks after previous failed efforts to sign him"

    2) Change contract offer -> offer vastly improved terms and hope player's club will accept my lower transfer bid

    3) Leave it and hope for the best

Surely it should be possible that I can improve my transfer offer AFTER a player has accepted a contract offer?

Completely agree, after a short hiatus from the game, I resumed my Farnborough save and we dominated the Championship with a team and a budget that had no rights to win it's fourth back-to-back promotion as champions. Yet another record breaking season with the most clean sheets, most points, and very close to the most wins ever in the division.

Now to assemble a Premier League squad with a League One reputation...

Edit: So after making just 5 signings, my League One standard team managed to finish 4th in our first season. Had we not had our new-year wobble, we could have finished as high as second or third! Safe to say, if you can ensure morale within the squad, this tactic can overperform massively. So much so in fact that I'm now going to move away from it and transition the team into a more eye pleasing style of football.

So this tactic is not good looking football?

  4. I found that you can absolutely exceed the 125,000 player limit with little to no issues. The loading/saving/run time issues arise from the amount of leagues you have loaded.

So feel free to add extra players to the starting database (you should have more regens to choose from too), but limit the leagues you load. You can load the top 4/5 on view only, or just leave them all together. The only issue I've found is that you obviously cannot see the league table, but players still register ratings, transfers work fine as do youth intakes.
