Out of interest, did you do the research by actually going to NPL Tas games, or just looking at stats? You certainly put a lot of depth into the squads!

I'm not located in Tasmania so I haven't physically gone to a match however it is a big help that all the games are available on YouTube + I have good contact with coaches, players and reporters.

If you spot any inaccuracies make sure to let me know :)

Yo whoever did the Tasmanian data this year, awesome work! Its been a long time coming. Only thing I'd like to see is the southern and northern championships cleaned up (eg. get rid of Prospect in the north, add Hobart Utd in the south, retire Shae Hickey at Beach and Hugh Foley at Taroona etc.).

    You're welcome ;)

As for the Southern and Northern Championships I don't have access to them but maybe this is something that can be done in the future.

  3. I was bored for the last few weeks waiting for FM21 so decided to create a promotion-relegation pyramid for Australia, something I do every year but had avoided for a number of reasons in 2020 but now it is finally here.

    League Structure

The structure is very similar to my FM19 pyramid a file that I was quite happy with and thought that there wasn't much need in tweaking too much. You have:

    1. A-League (Current 12 teams + Auckland City, Canberra United, Brisbane Strikers and Tasmania United)

    2. B-League (Fully professional second division made up of most of the top NPL clubs + Darwin and the return of FNQ FC Heat and North QLD Fury)

    3. C-League (20 team nationwide semi-pro league consisting entirely of the NPL clubs from each state - teams play each other once and then the league splits for a further two rounds)

    4. State Premier Leagues (10 State Divisions - Capital (consisting of ACT + Southern NSW), NSW, NNSW, NT - North (Darwin), NT - South (Alice Springs), QLD, SA, Tas, Vic and WA)

    5-13. More regionalised divisions

This file allows promotion and relegation through each level of the pyramid so it is possible to get the likes of the South Dubbo Wanderers, Kellyville Kolts, Nimbin Headers and Old Bar Barbarians promoted all the way to the top of Australian football and beyond.

    Cups

I have revamped the FFA Cup so that it is more of an end of year group stage format with the winner qualifying for the Asian Champions League. All clubs compete in their state cup throughout the year and the 9 winners play in the FFA Cup along with the winner of the A-League. I'm not 100% happy with it at the moment but I felt it was quite unique and maybe for FM21 I'll add more teams into it as well as increase prize money for each round of the state cups.

    Other

I haven't touched the playing squads so they are just default at the moment but I am hoping to expand on this portion of the database for FM21. As a researcher for a number of NPL competitions I can guarantee that there will be a lot more accurate squads for FM21 and I will do my best to add real players to a lot more clubs (NPL and non NPL) via the editor.

    All clubs have accurate kits.

All clubs have stadiums however not all have proper names - just *team name* Sports Ground. I will get around to giving all clubs their correct stadium names.

Some clubs in Australia have strong ties to ethnic communities and I have replicated this in the file so there are clubs that generate players of Nepali, Chinese, Bhutanese, South Sudanese, Iraqi, Somali, Afghan, North Macedonian and Armenian + much more nationalities.

Youth Rating has been increased from 90 to 100.

I'm still working on balancing the quality of the leagues - there is a gap between the top 5 levels but below that it is much of the same. I hope to sort this out so it works like a proper pyramid and a 13th tier side can't compete with a 9th tier side for example. This is really just trial and error and a lot of tweaking of facilities and reputation that still needs to be done.

I strongly recommend adding players to playable teams.

This file will definitely carry over to FM21 and will be available on the first or second day of release for those wanting to start on the new game.

Hey @Weiry do you have any clubs set up in the database to produce regens of a different nationality? Might be a cool addition for some of the smaller clubs who are very ethnic-based. For example, in the Northern Territory (the league I'm most familiar with), Garuda is primarily Indonesian players, Darwin Hearts is Nepalese, Palmerston Rovers is Irish etc

I had in the past with a few WA clubs but in this version no unfortunately however it is something I may look at again in the future.

    Yo!

I downloaded from the steam workshop the moldovian database and started with Sheriff Tiraspol. Then the season start approached and time for squad registartion. I can maximum have 6 foreign players registred, but there are 18, YES 18 players in the squad that are foreign, which leaves me with 14 players after the registration. Is this a bug in this database or is this the rule? DO anyone know anything about this? If these are in fact the league rules i find it very weird that the club in real life sign 18 foreign players.... Any Moldovians here?:)

    Thanks, I'll fix it soon

Probably it is never going to be done? cause I've read somewhere yours PC burned down...:(

Yes I'm afraid so, unless I completely start over again once I buy a new PC. The bad thing is I only had 3 more divisions to add and then it would have been completed and released. Anyway I probably won't be able to release any new nations for awhile and may just wait for FM21 to continue the project.

  7. My FM20 file is pretty much what option 1 is + most of the general goals - kits and stadiums all correct, I also have most player info for all NPL and some other regional league clubs in excel spreadsheets and it would be easy to make option 2 with it already. Option 3 would also be easily done with my file (saves you having to add 1000 clubs, stadiums etc. to the game)

It will most likely carry it over again in FM21 so if you'd like to help with that then it'd probably be a lot easier (instead of having 2 Australia DBs with the same premise) It's up to you though.

Just an update, as we've progressed to the start 2029/30 European campaign and thought you might be interested.

Meshakte has been given the last spot in the Europa Conference League again.  They're still in the 5th tier, and did not play in the Davit Kipiani Cup last year.  Merani finished 4th in the Erovnuli Liga and should have had that spot, since we won the Cup.

That is very strange and there's no logical explanation as to why Meshakte are getting put into Europe other than some in-game corruption between UEFA and the Georgian FA ;)

I haven't gotten around to looking at the file due to the holidays but will have a look later in the week.

    It's really odd.

My plan for the moment is to keep going, remove the Super Cup from the achievement hunter list (it's a glorified friendly anyways), and see what happens.  If this happens with any kind of frequency, I'll remove the league reputation goals from the achievement hunter table as well, because it's going to be extremely hard (if not impossible) to accomplish them, when we have 1 club each year that is going to be nothing more than pure cannon fodder.

@Weiry not sure if you've seen these issues coming up in Georgia (or anything similar, elsewhere) -- 2 posts up.  The Davit Kipiani Cup got rather goofy in 2027, disappearing from my "competitions" overview screen.  The games/fixtures continued to play correctly, however, so I didn't look any deeper.  In 2028, I noticed that the Cup doesn't seem to be tracking the history of winners correctly (having not recorded one since 2018), and giving Torpedo Kutaisi direct entry to the Super Cup every year, to face off against the Erovnuli Liga winners.  And we have a 5th tier team entering the Europa Conference League for 2028/29 (the correct teams seem to have advanced to Europe up until this point).  I obviously don't know why this is happening, and it isn't a major deal.  (It seems like this may be an SI-related issue, since a lower league Georgian team was reaching the Europa Conference League in one of @Makoto Nakamura's saves where he wasn't using the Georgia file.)  I am extremely grateful for the time you put into making the file, and wanted to flag this for you in case it is something with the Georgia editor file that can be fixed for future releases!  Feel free to shoot me a DM if you have any questions/etc!

Not the way I name my managers, but if it was I would certainly have done this, with George Costanza's face

Thanks for the heads up. I'll have a look at it shortly

    Hi Weiry,

I am getting an error when trying to verify your Israel file downloaded from this thread in the latest update. The error i am getting relates specifically to the Israeli Premier League Toto Cup. it keeps telling me that new stage 7 cannot find enough teams 3 found but 4 needed.

How do i fix it or has this been fixed in the version of the file on Steam please?

Many thanks for all the hard work and effort you are putting into creating all the leagues you have done so far down each countries respective footballing pyramids.

    Dai

I just re-verified the file and it works for me.

Maybe keep trying to verify until it works as the editor verification can be unpredictable at times. I attached the file I just verified if you want it though.

  12. This file fully activates the Bosnian football league pyramid with the correct structure and rules for the 2019-20 season. BH Telecom Premier League to Druga Opštinska liga are playable for Football Manager 2020.

    Leagues included are:

    1. BH Telecom Premier League
    2. Prva Nogometna Liga (2 Divisions)
    3. Druga Nogometna Liga (6 Divisions)
    4. 14 Divisions
    5. 14 Divisions
    6. 11 Divisions
    7. Druga Opštinska liga RS - Bijeljina (East and West)

As well as: Kup Bosne i Hercegovine, Kup Federacije Bosne i Hercegovine and Kup Republike Srpske

All stadiums are correct from the 2019-20 season while some kits have been randomised due to a lack of sources.

I suggest adding players to playable teams.

If you notice any errors or bugs with the database please message me and I’ll try to fix it as soon as possible.

Experiencing a bit of an issue, when I try and make a save with this database it gets half way through loading and gets stuck half way on the 'Setting Up Leagues and Competitions' loading screen, the hint is the same as well so it must be stuck rather than simply taking a long time

Happens sometimes to me too I'm guessing it is because of the size of the database and the amount of competitions it has to set up. It does eventually load just have to wait it out maybe even leave your pc on overnight or select less levels to load. Once it gets past that the database is quite fast.

if files are set up for 20.4 update can they still be played with an earlier version?

I believe so not 100% on that though
