For scouting I only set two recruitment focus. One for age between 15 and 21 and other for age of 22 or more. Then I split the scouts and analysts equally for both assignments. If you are on a big team, with worldwide scouting package then scouts will develop knowledge over many countries, I some scout with knowledge of 35 countries already. This approach will send your scout to look for players under the defined age range within the scouting package area and scouts will develop global knowledge of your scouting pack range.

That question doesn't have a simple answer. It depends of many things. Personally I like to have a control possession or tiki taka style formation and gegenpress / counter attack formation, if I'm having trouble to dominate possession I use the gegenpress / counter attack formation otherwise the control possession or tiki taka formation. If you creating chances with a counter attack formation but your opponent is also counter attacking and creating chances I like to try a control possession / tiki taka formation. The ideal squad for me is the one versatile enough to play tiki taka and gegenpress because you might need to use both of them over the season depending of the opponents and how the match flows

You can buy in game editor in DLC section at steam. That will allow you to see hidden attributes, CA, PA and change data. However if you any data change in your save file scoring stop counting for leader board. Personally I avoid using it because it break realism on scouting, but is useful to analyze AI performance in some situations

Does the player have a good personality? If a player has a very high PA but unambitious personality, it will be very unlikely that he will reach his potential. Is the player injury prone? For free is always a good deal, but scout report might revealed something very concerning about that player maybe

Sometimes staff give suggestions without any sense to transfer list a player because he's not in the squad planner, when I'm putting that player into play regularly. West Ham might break their wage budget and need to do some financial cuts. However 29M for that player seems to be a desperate sale

To master multiple tactics I do some primary tactic training rotation. Train a different tactic every month. If is a tactic that your team play regularly it will develop naturally due in match experience, however if is tactic that is used only on very specific scenarios the best way to master them is set as primary tactic to be trained. Any recommendations for a different approach to master multiple tactics formations?

DOF is very important important in LLM early stages because you have a very low amount of scouted players. You can ask DOF for some free players suggestions for a certain position and then offer a 4 weeks trial to full scout them. You can also ask for loan suggestions, then try to offer them a trial and for the ones that reject the trial start a scouting task. Scouting loan players suggestions will allow to find good players for free, because some clubs doesn't demand a wage contribution and possible free transfers for next season, because some of them have a short contract with their club

The training advice reports seems not trustable, because they recommended a player to start an individual training, then on the next meeting they recommend stop that same individual training. Then on other they recommend start that same individual training. It's a kind of loop. It seems AI spot a weakness on a player without PA available, but since he cannot improve more the training won't produce results, but they recommend the individual training anyway

Don't forget you can have up to 5 loan contract players. With patience and good scouting you can find good players for free, some teams does doesn't demand cover a share of wages. I just promoted Torquay to Vanarama National and I have 5 loan players on my squad for free. Some are starters and others are very solid backups

Yes, it will show scout report instead. The only way I can keep scouting is when the task is completed, where I can order to keep scouting if still not full knowledge

If the player has a high loyalty attribute it's possible the he refuses better contracts. It's rare to have very high loyalty players but it's possible

On my current FM24 career I had a player complaining about lack of depth on central defenders when I was few points away from being champions and grant promotion. I hired a new central defender on loan because I no wage budget available and the player was mad with me because I break the promises. Sometimes the player behaviors doesn't make sense, but I never lost control of them squad

When I want to sell a player I offer them to clubs with unspecified price. Then I accept the best offer. For example the best offer was 1M then I offer they player again with an asking price of 1.25M. If I receive a 1.25M offer I accept it, reject the 1M offers, then I offer the player again to clubs with an asking price of 1.5M and so on. Following this approach sometimes the best offer end up on a value 3 or 4 times higher than first best offer. It's a kind of auction
