Not quite sure how this thread ended up in UI, I think it was accidentally merged - I thought it was weird it had suddenly gone missing from League Specific. Moving this bac now.
Just to clarify on the issue regarding players being suspended indefinitely in the league due to suspensions from the league cup, this is an issue we have under review and are looking to get fixed soon (including for existing save games if possible) for FM21 soon.

Hi there, this isn't reproducing for me on the latest public build - to clarify is the Editor unable to do Rules > Add Nation Rules or is the issue after that point?

Hi guys, if the right-click solution doesn't work could you upload your cache and preferences file to our cloud service please?
(Instructions below on finding said files, but use the Editor 2021 folder instead of Football Manager 2021)
The original fix should in theory have resolved the issue (or at least made the right-click workaround resolve the issue) so this might point to it being a separate root cause.

Hi all, thanks for providing the information regarding competing in European group stages messing with Icelandic holiday dates. There is potentially a wider problem with the generic holiday calculation system causing this - I've now logged this for further review internally.

You should be able to register the U21 players to progress, but you are correct that you shouldn't have to - I can log this one internally. Thanks for raising.

Actually this is something I happened to ponder recently but couldn't find anything in official uefa documentation stating that this is the case. I'm pretty sure you're right and they skew towards Ukrainian/Russian/Kazakh/etc. clubs getting the earlier kickoff but have been unable to find a source on it.

Hi, to clarify is this with a specific custom database file loaded or for all competition tests even with a default database?
If the former, could you upload your edit file to our cloud service and we can investigate. If the latter, which divisions do you have active whilst testing competitions (or does it reproduce for any divisions being activated in said test)? Thanks

This is not intended, checking online it seems that reserve teams should not enter - thanks for spotting as I've now logged a bug on this.

Editor worked as normal (as Luke showed) with Eric Bailly, but not with Romero (who has staff attributes).

confirmed this with other players who also have staff attributes now.
will just avoid them for the scenario I’m setting up.

Sure enough on February 3rd he says "I'll come!" But by that point I'm a day too late to register him and he can't play until the summer.
It's highlighted quite well in the attached image of the day's inbox. I mean, it feels like a bug, because if this is how it actually works in France it's completely arbitrary and must drive people mad.
Any thoughts?
Hi, this is due to an issue with the game code seemingly forcing the registration end date to change under the hood and be a day early (in this season it should be on the 3rd) - I'm afraid we haven't been able to find out the root cause behind that but it is currently under review.

Is this with an MLS team? I believe there is a licensing reason for not having non-MLS competitions appear on this screen for these teams.

Indeed, there is a known issue under review currently where midway through stages the substitution rules can change for the European competitions.

(Advanced Editor) Not enough teams error message after winter update & fixes
in Pre-Game and In-Game Editor

To clarify, there wasn't an additional update for the Editor following the Update 2 release last week. We've had a few sightings of this issue (with the 2 teams from 7 for the CWC failing verifications) but there's been no discernible cause we've found (or way to reproduce internally).
On the off chance this was the cause, were both the game and Pre-Game Editor Update 2 patches downloaded when the error first appeared?
