  1. Fantastic thread once again looking forward to reading more of this Cleon. Player development is something I've taken more seriously in recent FM's I love to have a full squad of players who I have trained myself.
  2. Name: Fitz Hall Nationality: English Position: DC Wage demand: Got him for 3kp/w What level he's good for: League one/Lower Champ
  3. Go back to square one, start a new game and work from there. A variety of factors will be affecting the team. Tactic familiarity, morale, form etc. Take the time to read the threads you have been linked on here and the advice given and go from there. Also replaying the same match over and over again will teach you nothing as all the previous factors mentioned will be the same
  4. I would put one of your fullbacks to an attack duty to give you better movement between the lines. I would also change your style to a more fluid approach
  5. This thread is likely to be locked, but read this thread and then try asking for help instead of complaining about the ME http://community.sigames.com/showthread.php/325677-Forum-Rules-FAQ-s-and-Important-Links-PLEASE-READ-BEFORE-POSTING
  6. Your teams reputation will of increased and as a result the AI will respect you more and change their tactics to counter yours. You need to adapt your tactic to show this or you will struggle
  7. First thing I notice is your lone striker is a poacher, with you playing a direct approach I would hazard a guess at you loosing the ball often as he will be isolated. I'd change him to a DLF support to enable the link between the midfield and defence. Secondly in your team instructions you have set them to press more yet you have adjusted the slider to put the defensive line deeper. This contradicts eachother as the team will be trying to press the ball whilst playing a low defensive line which will leave massive gaps between the lines. I'd get rid of the defensive line and put it back were it was. I'd possibly change your IF's to support duty to give them a lower starting point to again close the gaps between your team.
  8. @vkastanas You have been offered good advice and are choosing to ignore it. Your comment about trying to steal a game proves it. How can you possibly "steal" a game if you are incapable of scoring or keeping the games tight? Your tactic makes absolutely no sense whatsoever and I don't even know where to start on your roles. You need to take the time out to read a few threads to gain an understanding of what you are doing as you have shown you don't understand what the roles do. You need to read the very start of this thread, a simple 12 step guide and the thread on playing 4-4-2.
  9. I have never used a defensive strategy from the start of a game before so not entirely sure how that side of the game works. Personally I would use a counter style to give you that extra threat going forwards. Just a quick couple of things I have noticed though. Your team passing is set to direct which will impact on the type of passes your players are trying to make, they will tend to give the ball away more as they are looking for the more difficult pass. I would look to set your right winger to the role of a winger instead of an IF because he and the fullback, I'm guessing tend to take up the same space at the moment? This will also give your attack a different dimension and help your DLF to pick him out more easily. 4 One of your central midfielders needs to make sure they go past the DLF when he drops into space or he is very limited in the players he has to pass to. I'd also change the roles round in your midfield and put your CM as a DLP and your DM as a defensive midfielder. This will give you a better base to build from the back and give you extra protection in front of the back four. When you say that most of your goals are conceded down the centre, are they conceded from crosses or centre backs being dragged out of position? With your right back set to attacking I'm guessing he is leaving space out wide which either drags your centre half across or makes your DM have to cover a lot of ground to cover for him? Btw it's good to see someone come on and ask for help in such detail, it makes things much easier
  10. As they are younger players there physical stats will improve over time. If you wanted to do it specifically I'd have their individual focus set to the specific physical attribute you want to improve. You could also put the teams general training to fitness and leave it there for a while and see if that improves. Personally I find my players improve their physical stats naturally with the odd focus on a particular weak stat

  12. The failed PPM training comes from the coach who will suggest it would be beneficial for them to do it and if you over rule the coach and they train what you wanted anyway, the other PPM you didn't want will be attempted

  14. Fantastic post, top work. The defensive side of the game is something I've been looking to improve and have done so with a good deal of success in my current season
  15. It tends to be pritty even, Destro my DLF was top scorer with 16. I had another two of my players both hit double figures and the rest evenly spread out. Whoever plays as my winger tends to get more goals than my IF though. I think a lot of this comes down to me changing the team around trying to give my youngsters a chance so my more experienced players don't spend as long on the pitch as they would normally.
