Hey, there is an error when I try to add/choose Canada as a playing nation. I have gone through the DB, but haven't found the source yet. Any ideas what can fix it?

Hello everybody, A couple of days ago I came up with an idea to create a database comprised only of home-grown players. What I mean by that is all clubs will have only home-grown players. For instance, Benzema, Ben Arfa and others would be playing for Lyon, Neymar and Gabigol for Santos, etc. Additionally, I am thinking of placing a transfer embargo for all teams for 20+ years in order for the teams to stick to their home-grown players. Contracts will be signed for life, basically, until a player turns 35-36. So this database also can become a challenge for those, who are seeking something new in the game. Lastly, I am thinking of doing the same for staff. What I mean os for teams to have only home-grown coaches/scouts, etc. Legends/Icons of this club can be exceptions. Now, in order to bring this to life, I need your help as there are more than 430k players in the current database. 1. Currently I am planning to target only playable nations, but this may vary depending on a nation. What about let's say Pjanic, who is home-grown for a Bosnian team? That's what we need to decide. 2. A player is to weak for a club. Obviously, there are players who are home-grown for Man Utd, but who are way below their level. In this case, I would either let them stay at their current clubs or make them free agents. But before that is done, we need to determine the minimum CA/PA for a league or a club (based on their reputation). 3. What if a player is home-grown for two clubs? Preference will be given to a first club. 4. If you are willing to help, let me know what nation or league do you want to take. 5. I would suggest going club-by-club, meaning if you start doing Bayern, make sure that Robben is transferred back to Holland, Ribery to France, while all home-grown players are transferred back to Bayern. Suggestions, comments and/or concerns are more than welcomed.

I would like to see "home-grown" filter in the next editor. I am speaking about pre-game editor.

I've managed Holland and Italy as Ukrainian in FM 2015.I have never managed in Holland,but have won several trophies with Napoli and Real Madrid before being appointed.(Both times I was employed at clubs too). Also, it depends on your status(mine was/is World Class,so nobody would reject my application). I havent won anything with nations,mainly because i was unlucky with them. I took Holland in a tough period than there weren't many talented players,plus main stars were pretty old(30+) and they were in a bad form(less than 6.5). As a result, I had to bring on a Euro a bunch of players whose level was below the level of the national team, but who were in a good form. I lost Spain in 1/8(the objective was 1/4) due a red and a penalty,but we had a lot of score chances,so it wasnt our day. (Spain won the tournament)After that i resigned. On next Euro i managed Italy with a pretty good squad, but again there was no luck. Lost to France in 1/8 (objective 1/2). Result 1-0 and again a lot of missed opportunities to score. So i decided that i will never ever manage a national team again.

1.It would be good, if there was a possibility to be appointed as a youth manager. 2.When you sign a player on a free transfer,you can't register him if season have started already- fix it. 3.Add more minor leagues.

Everybody knows that clubs that experience financial problems often do not pay salary to their players or at least delay it.Moreover,the players would be more interested in a transfer to another club,since the situation in his current club does not look good.

Hmm....I guess you're right about the 1st one:(

I have two ideas which I would like to offer: 1.Influence of political situation on players. - As a person that lives in Ukraine,I definitely know that a lot of players do not want to go to our clubs.How about to reflect this in the game?What I mean is to make it harder to sign for clubs,countries of those are in a state of a military conflict. 2.Delay of salary. - Everybody knows that clubs that experience financial problems often do not pay salary to their players or at least delay it.Moreover,the players would be more interested in a transfer to another club,since the situation in his current club does not look good.
