Should the competitive streak be in the Cons? Thats where im seeing it in a fair few of my players

How do I find dirtiness?
I have setup a basic 4-4-2 with everyone to tackle hard, press, man mark... im getting fouls in good numbers, but the cards dont follow
I dont normally do tactics so all the screens are new to me, so im probably missing something simple.

What tactical screens in the game allow me to create something where my players go out on to the pitch to break legs, elbow players, spit, fight...essentially play the game the right way.
Football is about winning a war, no room for friends.. if we are losing, I want 2 footers flying in... if we are winning, we dive for free kicks, roll around for 30 minutes on the floor to time waste.
Niggly, nasty, a proper bunch of horrible players that no one wants to face

Probably been asked before, but is the reason we dont have the Bolivian, Paraguayan, Ecuadorian and Venezuelan leagues basically down to licences? Or is there another issue the prevents SI completing the South American lineup?
I appreciate that people add this via an editor, but I never feel quite right that the league is represented correctly in one way or another.. that could be wrong, but its my gut feeling.
Id love SI to complete the full set, but understand if its a financial issue that prevents them getting the whole lot.
I mean even add Paraguay and Ecuador? The top teams there are generally fairly competitive in the Libertadores/Sudamericana.

If you put a high release clause in, wont the board try to adhere to that when selling off the players beneath you?
At least then if they do, you will get a load of money to invest.. plus if these players never play for Chelsea etc, keep tabs on them and bring them back when they are released?
Or you could force a sale yourself, offer them out (As you know the board may well sell them) get in a fee, sell on fee and maybe a loan back clause for them?

Yeah im the same, I load all South America... I do add Mexico as well, they often spend money in South America, plus the Top EU leagues.
Im probably going to try revive a club in Primera B this year.... when I get into an Argentine save.

Back to back Scudettos, a 5th straight Coppa Italia
But we lose in our 3rd straight European Cup Final

So close to greatness but just shy with sloppy European Final results and a title blown on H2H. Juve and Inter are machines!

Back to on the field matters
A solid season and we should have won the Quad but impressive nonetheless.
Through the season we sold Wan Bissaka, Alli, Tielemans, Diogo Jota and Belotti to free up a few squad spaces as there were improvements to be made.
Cancelo came in, alongside Laporte from Man City. We then added Pogba, finally committing upto 190m on Haaland as our annual spend for 21/22 tops out at 770,000,000 with another 450,000,000 sat in clauses down the line!
So we won the SuperCoppa vs Juve, we added a back to back Coppa Italia success also vs Juve.
In Serie A we were brilliant for ages, then collapsed once we bought in our new January signings ironically. Inter would romp on to win it, we did enough to come 2nd and claim another spot in the Champions League.
Talking of Europe, we excelled and looked like the Milan of old. Topping our group ahead of Man Utd and Dortmund, highlighted by dipping Olympiakos 8-1 on our return to the competition.
In the 16s we edged Valencia, the 8s it was Atletico and the Semis saw us stuff PSG 4-0 at home to deny them a chance for a 3rd straight crown.
A European Cup Final with AC Milan, it just sounds right. We would face Manchester United again, a team we beat 3-0 and 2-0 in the Groups. The Final saw United finally breach us, but their 1 goal was never enough as Haaland would score thrice in our 4-1 win.
Milan are Champions of Europe once more. Our Serbian owners walk into instant success... do I have the hunger to continue!

Would you call creating your own tactic knowing what the AI is weak at, so you could win.. cheating? Possibly... I dont do anything to tactics, I pick a game default tactic and let it play out, but some people enjoy making tactics, so be it.
When buying players, I use the options available in negotiating transfers and make my deals. No edits, no in game editor, nothing.. I dont even use scouts to get information on players.
I load up deals to pay off the debt later on essentially. It allows you to spend as much as you want to a certain extent. Has it caused me problems? Loads of times, ive been in admin on saves fairly often (more than once with the same team)... FFP failures and pts deductions... FFP bans from Europe, ive done it all, the game punishes me and I deal with it.
Is it unrealisitic? Probably, but the minute you load up the game the realism is lost anyway and you play in your own little world

DC - Upamecano, Romagnoli, G. Mancini & Zouma
MID - Cristante, Camavinga, Tielemans, Alli, Isco, Ousmane Dembele, Ansu Fati
ATT - Immobile, Jesus, Vincius Jr, Diogo Jota, Belotti
Trying to bin off Mahrez so he is in the Primavera squad, whilst Alli annoys me and isnt up to scratch so may see if there are suitors for him.

Yeah both have another 50m due after 'x' amount of league games so that will bump it. I also put on a 50% sell on fee clause to get it over the line, they asked for 40%.
Im still trying to add a bit more depth to the squad, we have a couple of areas that we need to finesse, to try and ensure we get Top 4 again.

Just started the summer rebuild and that obviously means getting players out... Richarlison went for 44m after a disappointing season with the club, whilst we cashed in on Kessie for 50m to Man Utd... I was a little hesistant for that, but we have invested heavily in midfield as you will see
In the midst of typing this a panic has set in.. apparently Donnarumma is out of contract, he wont re-sign with me atm so im a bit stuck and in turn have pointed £170,000,000 at David De Gea in desperation!
But putting that drama to one side, the exciting new faces to grace the Rossoneri next year are:

More importantly we also squeezed out the same team as we get Champions League football with a 4th place finish. We were miles off the title though, a whopping 22pts behind Juve, so loads of room to rebuild and I think we could do with a 1,000,000,000 spending spree to bridge that gap

tbf i broke away from my tradition of the in game 4-4-2, by selecting the in game Catenaccio tactic as I thought that would be more Italian
In the end we were pretty ****, so 4-4-2 it is! And we have revived things a bit.

Ive sold as many players as I could to fund this, bought in over 100,000,000.. Zlatan is back at PSG, whilst Ruben Neves (22.5m) and Nicolas Pepe (10m) were both sold at a loss after just 6 months of sitting on the bench doing nothing useful.
On the pitch we did go out of Europe straight away before I could sign players, losing 1-2 aet to AGF. In the Coppa Italia we have just made the Final and will face Atalanta as we hope to bring back a competition the club hasnt won for well over a decade.
Serie A is up and down, we are 6th, wont be able to win the league but are well in the 4th place mix and a Champions League spot.

Half a billion, yes £500,000,000+ spent at Milan and we go and lose 3 nowt at Sassuolo.... ill tell you there was more than one cup of tea thrown against the wall at full time

lol ill still give it a go somewhere... HSBC are a bit funky, they have cash but the board step in on everything. So ive taken my talents to 3. Liga and the behemoth 'Kaiserslautern.
How the hell they are languishing down there ill never know, but ill give them a go at reviving their fortunes by hook or crook

Are the new South American leagues realistic? Have correct history and teams? And who sets the teams finances/reputations as I tried a different one of these before on an old FM and players like Mbappe instantly wanted to join me in the Bolivian 2nd division or something silly...
