Do you play any other games?
If not, then you really don't need a high refresh rate on your display. That's only really a factor if you're playing competitive online games which require that extra responsiveness. In my opinion anyway.
would it make a difference if using outside then?
This has been really useful, thanks, so its sounding like the lenovo is the one to go for then.

Personally, I think the Argos one is still a bit better for FM, but not by much. The one in Argos has a CPU which is that little bit stronger.
This one will still be extremely capable though.
Found another.
i'm thinking the 120Hz screen could be the difference.

That link comes up with a list of laptops, not a specific model.
Sorry, this should work then

Go for the one in Argos.
The one in the HP store has a weaker CPU and exactly the same graphics card.
If you bought the HP, you'd be paying an extra £120 for a lower spec laptop!
EDIT: The graphics card actually seems to be weaker on the HP as well. They both have the same model number, but the Argos one says 3GB VRAM, and the HP one says 2GB!
What do you think of this one compared to the argos one.

Cheers, so you think the argos one will pay FM20 at the highest settings then?
Also its important its future proofed for at least a few more years of FM

If you send the link, I can take a look but I suspect it's not worth dropping an extra £100 on.
This is the link

Those appear to be largely identical, aside from the storage.... and the first one is actually out of stock.
But these will be absolutely fine for what you're looking to do.
Cheers, just seen I could pick up an OMEN by HP 15-dc0001na Gaming Laptop - NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1050 for just over £700. I am so tempted by this. What do you think?

Hi all
I am looking to update my current laptop so I can enjoy FM0 at the highest quality I can.
I am looking to pay up to the £600 ish mark if I can.
I don't play other games but I do multi task a lot and stream a lot of movies, sports etc.
My current laptop runs quite hot and the fan is really noisy.
Ideally i would like a gaming laptop that runs quiet when playing FM20, I would like to play everything in FM20 at the max, leagues, database, graphics etc.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
It's black friday today, has anyone seen any deals?
I have seen a few and these ones has stood out so far.

I have lost count of how many times, my players run from deep to a great through ball and a player on the far side, that isn't involved in play, is given offside against him.
Does this happen to anyone else?
Its so frustrating
