Potentially top-drawer potential. Gavi could be 150. He is the star of a Barcelona team running away with La Liga. He is already better than 150 and is 18..! Same with Bellingham, he is already better than 160 and that could be given to him as a PA? Come on now..

Hi all, absolutely buzzin’ the winter update has dropped, can’t wait to get stuck into a new save. Want to discuss negative PA (-9 & -9.5 ect). It’s a great concept as obviously you often don’t quite know how good a youngster will turn out. However, there are examples of youngsters that you know will be world class and going to the top of the game but given a negative PA. Bellingham the most obvious example. Already the captain and best player at an elite club like Dortmund. Englands best player at the World Cup. He is ALREADY better than the low potential PA he can be given and he is still a teenager, makes zero sense. Musiala and Gavi are other another examples of this. When it’s as obvious as it is that some elite few are going to the top, they should just have a high fixed PA, not a randomised possibility their PA could be just 150 or 160, it’s bonkers. Got it right with players like Foden, Saka, Pedri off the top of my head. More if the same needed for players like Bellingham, Gavi and Musiala. Edit: I have noticed they have given Musiala a high fixed PA. Great! Exactly what I’m talking about. A shame Bellingham wasn’t given the same treatment, glaringly obvious he should have done.

@ludal49 You mention Messi’s stats were last season, now they are back up to a ridiculous level, I am assuming and hoping his CA and stats will be increased accordingly? World Cup player of the tournament as well. Going to win yet another Ballon d’Or. His CA should be at least 195. The little genius is still the best.

Haha, well if Partey and Zinchenko’s CA’s aren’t in the 170’s, I may well have to get on the blower to the police haha! Nice to hear the Arsenal squad have had a full review and excited to see the upgrades when the update drops! Cheers!

Very much looking forward to the winter update with the updated transfer and some updated and more accurate attributes. Will there be any other changes to the game? ME for example? (Not that I think it particularly needs it, just out of curiosity) Surely some of the Arsenal players will get a CP and/or PA hike..? Ramsdale, White, Zinchenko and Partey being the main players in desperate need of an increase. Painfully inaccurate representation of their quality in the game currently. Who else is excited for the update?

It is absolutely ridiculous and extremely frustrating. I feel your pain. I played as Celtic last season, had hundreds of million in the bank, but could never have more than 6 coaches. Would love someone from SI to comment on this?! Make it make sense.

Hi all, need to share what has just occurred on my save to relieve some stress if nothing else haha! So I am playing as Celtic, up to the January transfer window. Spurs come in with a bid for Kyogo Furuhashi, I manage to negotiate to a whopping £47m. As you can imagine, I was extremely excited about the prospect of generating such a huge sale for a club like Celtic and being able to reinvest that money. Once a deal has been made for one of my players, to hopefully limit the chances of a player rejecting a contract, I always just send them to the reserves, I did so here with Furuhashi even though I never imagined I'd need to for this situation. To my disbelief, Furuhashi rejected the contract from Spurs. He passed up the chance to go to the best league in the world, play with a better team and no doubt quadruple his £19k a week wage. As unrealistic as rejecting all of that is, I could have accepted it, as he must just love me.. Where this situation really infuriated and perplexed me, was that after rejected the opportunity from Spurs, Furuhashi now has is unhappy. His issue is he "Wants to join Tottenham as they have such a strong squad".. So I have missed out on a record breaking sale and now have an unhappy player because he isn't allowed to join the club he just rejected. Make it make sense.

Appreciate the response, good to have constructive discussions. Compare Elneny's overview to Partey's, there really isn't much in it. Being X amount of points off the league leaders isn't the best way of setting induvial player attributes. If Arsenal go on to win the league this season, Partey isn't a different player from last season and I guess he'd then he'd have all his attributes increases due to his TEAMS league finish? An example, Liverpool have finished miles off the title in the past, would you not rate Steven Gerrard because of it? No he was still a brilliant player with brilliant attributes. It's not relevant how good or bad my save went as I'm just seeking more accurate rating but with regards to winning the league with 98 points, I did so without Partey, obviously. I couldn't even sell him. I had to loan him out to Real Madrid to get his wages off the books to reinvest.

A shame to see the difficulty hasn't been addressed. Won the PL with Arsenal in my first season with 98 points. You wouldn't believe me if I told you the personnel in my squad going into the second second, its absolutely ridiculous. For starters it includes Messi and Haaland..

Thanks for the reply & @HUNT3R How do I go about sharing my save with you guys? Not the most tech savvy. In terms of detail, I just set them up as: Gabriel Attack the near post both from both sides. Stuck a man on the keeper and another man Lurking at Near post.

Nicely put. Shouldn't ignore and avoid glaring and unrealistic issues. Especially one that you'd have thought would be easy to fix and avoid happening. Also, I have never downloaded anything on FM, I have bought every game since 2005. How can one center back alone score almost 40 goals in one season from corners. Please fix it..

Have you set your corner taker to aim for near post? If so, its actually insane and unexplainable how you cant sore from a corner and one of my center backs alone has almost 40 goals.

Really enjoying this years game, but one major issue is ruining all the satisfaction. Over powered near post corners. Playing as Arsenal, center back Gabriel has scored 38 goals. This was a major problem in the last game and is even worse in this years game. Praying it has been fixed by full release as what's the fun in it..?

@Animalzzz How bizarre. My corner takers at Arsenal aren't anything special. Gabriel isn't THAT amazing in the air, yet he bags over 30 goals. Mental.. Haha.

Awesome save idea! Going to do be doing something similar as soon as the full release drops! So PSG accept £40m for Messi? Also hope City signing Depay for £45m in your save isn't a one off!
