I'm just hoping for a compatibility list in the next few days so I know whether or not to look for a new tablet in the sales. I have a Huawei Mediapad m5 8.4, and got FMT last year no bother, but people with the same tablet were getting the 'not compatible with your device' message

This is more appealling than fmt now 😍
I thought the same. Player interaction looks to be far more in depth on fmm. It looks like the best parts of FMT have been included

It's definitely frustrating. When I choose Scotland as a playable nation, small teams (who are unplayable) have squads full of players, but as others have mentioned, mid sized European teams have squads full of greyed out players
FMM has a far better selection of featured players from unselected nations

It isn't on the compatibility list

I've started a new game already....
I had to uninstall/reinstall the game. When you're choosing the playable nations/leagues, there's an option in the top right hand corner, that lets you choose the January transfer update

The winter window patch will probably be launched late Feb/first week of March for the main game and Touch will likely follow a few days after approval from Apple/Google.
No update has been launched. Just a new ME version on the public beta that has not been made available for Touch.
Ah OK, thanks for letting me know

Was there an update to the main game recently? I play touch on tablet, and I didn't think there'd be another update until the winter transfer one. You've got my hopes up now though

The question has been asked for a few years now. The most common answer seems to be "that's just the way it is"
It's pretty frustrating, as it'd be good to be able to look back at previous games over different seasons

I don't know if I'm missing a really obvious option somewhere

I checked the compatibility list, the huawei lite devices aren't on it
I use the mediapad m5 8.4 and can recommend that, it's a brilliant tablet and runs the game with no problem.
It's on amazon just now for £229.99

I don't think there's a demand for it to be honest. Lullijo did a review for FMT, but I don't know if he carried on and started a career

My Touch just updated to 20.2.1 upon loading the game up now...
EDIT: Viewing national squads (U19's etc.) has been fixed, as has viewing the B team/reserves.
That update has been available for weeks, 21st November I think. Never mind, my mistake

I just checked Google play, and there's no update. I'm on a bus, and trying not to cry, but I'm losing the battle

Please give me the fagging update before friday 6pm already!!
I'd settle for Christmas eve at this point. I tried to start a save this afternoon, but gave up after being awarded 7 penalties during three pre season games. People are still asking the FM account on twitter for a rough estimate of when the update will be available, and they're being ignored

month into the release of the game is a little disappointing. Add the fact that there has barely been any official communication for a week since the release of 20.2 for the full game makes me feel like FMT is just an afterthought.
I fully agree. Miles said that he understood that people were disappointed with the later release this year, but it gave the team a chance to sort out the bugs before the game was available. Like you, I don't like being critical, but I've no idea how that many bugs slipped through
The official FM account is actively ignoring questions about the update, which is pretty disappointing. Just today someone asked, the questions right before and after his were answered, so whoever it was, definitely would've seen the update question.
Since the Stadia announcement, FMT has definitely slipped down the list of priorities

Are you looking to buy the laptop simply to play the game? If so, it'll be cheaper to get a tablet. It's also coming to the Nintendo switch next week

It's out on 10th of this month, it was announced on twitter

Someone asked on twitter yesterday, as she'd bought a switch for her boyfriend, specifically to play FMT
She was told (By the FM account) that it'd definitely be out before Christmas

And newgen managers getting top jobs early in the save
I left Celtic after two seasons, and my replacement was a newgen than had been in charge of Hearts for a single match. It didn't annoy me, I found it pretty funny to be honest

Thanks mate, looks like a decent bit of kit. Is Huawei still compatible with Google apps after all the debacle?
I use that tablet to play the game, there are no problems
It's only future Huawei devices that will be affected by the Google situation, existing ones are fine

That has been reported as a bug, so will (hopefully) be sorted soon, according to the FM twitter account

Still no news yet. It might not come until after the beta version for the full game is available

The new features for FMM were released at around 6pm one night last week, so it could still happen tonight
