Some clubs that we send our promising players on loan to gain match experience and develop themselves rarely train them on their natural position in training.I mean even though those clubs have better training facilities and the player I send on loan is Wonderkid, after a while his attributes start decreasing. When the player come back to the club I realise that he is being forced to train on a position that he is irrelevant.I hate this, do u guys know any solution for this ? Is it better to keep him at the club instead of sending him on loan to gain match experience ?
sorry for updating , never got any feedback on this topic so far

Is it a disadvantage to loan out a player to an non-activated league ?( e.g. to make someone eu citizen to gain workpermit for England- by sending him spain)( I unlocked everyplayer in the world with large database and including around 310.000 player)

Is it better to train players on a role that covers more attributes than focusing fewer ones.I mean, I always set my strikers training as "Complete Forward" role so that he develops all those attributes even thouh I use him as "Advanced Forward" in my tactic.I always do this to all my players(Goalkeepers are set to Sweeper Keeper,Midfielders are set to BBM,Forwards are set to CF etc.).Some disagree with this and the less attributes players are focused the more becomes his development quicker. So, what are your opinions about this ?

My belief (and you really should check with the experts) is that the "structured-flexible-fluid" choices are very misleadingly named. The proper way to name them would be "vertical compactness." To me, it seems to govern the spacing between your lines.
One of my huge complaints is that FM seems to work with "English football English" rather than just using English words with normal English definitions. By that I mean they use words that mean something in English club football tactics. An example is that "at sixes and sevens" is a cliché in Britain, but to an American, it's just a collection of words. We have different phrases for different tactical ideas.
That's not an exclusively British thing; my wife is from Kenya and they have their own English language clichés. (I'm not speaking exclusively about football here.) I work with someone from India; she has her own clichés. The mistake the game designers make is assuming that English as spoken in Britain is some kind of universal language. Many of the complaints/misunderstandings on this thread come from this exact problem. Words are used in the game incorrectly. You would THINK that "fluid" would mean a centerback willing to maraud forward to take advantage of space, or that a forward would come back to the midfield to try to win a ball, but that's not really what you "see" when you watch matches. "Fluid" merely means more vertically compact than "flexible."
The one most prominent example is that the counter setting isn't really setting you up to play the counter. It just means less risky than standard and more risky than defensive. Why they didn't just give it a name to reflect that who the hell knows.
Basically, when you, the player, want to implement your tactical ideas, you can't just look at your options and choose what you want. You have to run your ideas through some kind of babelfish translator first. That's poor game design. And it's been that way ever since they got rid of wibble wobble. That's just corporate arrogance.
Thanks for your answer,Turkish is my native language and I always compare phrases in the game with English and it has more or less the same meaning. To your presume about risks on mentalities,I can say that I disaragree with you. It's not just about risk in my opinion and the definition on mentalities are correct through my experience. The Best part of the game that I like most is it enables and leaves some parts unclear and this lead us to discuss for years If everything was totally clear I wouldn't be addict and Love this game that much

what if we choose team shape as fluid whereas creative freedom was choosen as more disciplined ( this option also disallows roam from position option) ?

Does it cost ca decrease to train a player for a position where he is accomplished? Isn't it a bad feature of the game? I have a player whose natural position is attacking midfielder and Best role is ap, I make him play on the midfielder as ap( it shows he is accomplished there-dark green) but when I train him on midfielder position as ap, his all attributes decreases despite he has been performing very well in matches. So my question is, is it better not to train a player for a position where he is already accomplished?

Whoopy- the problem you are running into is not having any wide cover for your wingbacks. If I had to guess, you are probably having a larger share of the problems down your left flank where your CWB is. That guy with an attack duty is going to struggle to get back defensively as he goes so far forward. I use a WB(A) on that side in the same formation and use a BWM (S) to provide cover. He will move out laterally to engage a winger or fullback coming down that flank, With this formation, you will always be vulnerable down the flanks, but that can help a good bit. Occasionally against teams that are really exploiting the flanks, I use BWM(S) on both sides of the midfield. At the Prem level, you should have no problem finding a decent pace/acc, aggressive, brave, tackling guy for that role. It's a nice plus if he can contribute offensively as well, but his main job is to provide cover for your attacking wingback.
Thanks Dr.Hook.I will reconsider this extensively.

Guys I need help with conceding goals come from crosses. My team is in premier league and we haave been fighting for not to be relegated for 2 seasons.Players are all suitable for 5-3-2WB formation so I cannot use formations including wingers.Whatever I tried,I couldn't stop conceding from crosses, tried 4-3-1-2 as well but it didn't work too.Because I do not have wingers there is always a space on flanks.Although I tried in OI Closing down on opponent's backs and wingers they kept bombing goals . I also tried less closing down and letting them play but it didn't work as well. This is my formation,if I cant find a solution its high probably that I will not be able to stay in premier league.
I also wonder what do you guys use for corners ? I've never been a dangerous on set pieces in FM17.

Thanks for your respond mate.As you said I always take consider the level of facilities of the club that loan my player and squad status of the player for the regular first team player.Despite all, sometimes they train my promising or wonderkid player in a poisiton that is not his position. As you know training a player in a new position that he is not accomplished results attributes to drop.
