  1. There's a lot of reasons for top clubs to be interested, though. I'd expect to be batting off offers from Europe's top clubs for all 3 of these and hopefully keep 2 of them. I also got no interest when we were promoted. IRL, if Rowe had seasons like this Norwich would be getting massive bids from all of England's top clubs.
  2. Same nationality, starting with the highest level of experience selectable. I actually don't mind that there's increased pushback from the squad, but the 'squad depth' one seems to happen every single transfer window regardless of depth, I have too many players and I'm getting it.
  3. Squad depth whinging has been a big one for me - I've got too many players and they're telling me I need to buy more 2x a season
  4. It feels too easy to hold onto my best players. I got promoted with Norwich, then finished 5th in my first season in the PL (Maybe something to reflect on how easy it is to succeed with a Gegenpress tactic there as well...) and I have players putting in these kinds of performances and I'm not getting bids from top clubs at all - only the odd Saudi... In real life, I'd have no hope of holding onto all of these guys
  5. Love the Saudis. They can sports wash me all over
  6. Looks like he's there in standard mode, but he's not if you choose 'your world' - i.e., with latest transfers he's at Getafe on loan but if you don't apply latest transfers he disappears entirely like FM23.
  7. No Mason Greenwood? Appreciate he's an absolute POS but Ruben Semedo is still in the game
  8. Haven't even gotten to a match yet, but really liking the game - UI has made improvements, I think it had regressed the last couple of versions so I think it's great to see such strides forward. Really liking the way transfers work as well, bit more involved to get rid of deadwood and feels more realistic. Quite fun to have a Suadi club swoop in for someone
  9. I'm giving my feedback on a feature in an official feedback topic - why are you being such a gatekeeper?
  10. Less of the attitude, thanks. This doesn't work - I've tried it. Players who's contracts are meant to expire on 1st July have contract extensions. Messi has an extra year with PSG, Skrianer ends up contracted to Inter until 2028 etc.
  11. Are there any leagues where you can get a start date in June 2023? Want to undo all these transfers but don't want to go back to before the end of last season!
  12. This is a thread for feedback, I'm giving it in good faith. It's a weird implementation, the appeal of this is that you get to have a go at the transfer window as things ended last season - what we have is an odd halfway house.
  13. Yes, I understand the reason - my feedback is that this isn't a great experience. This mode would be much better if no transfers were processed.
  14. I was really excited about being able to play without summer transfers being in the game at the start of the season, but somehow I'm still lumped with Havertz at Arsenal, which has kinda ruined it. Would be much better if this feature started with same squads as last season and people who's contracts expired available for free.
  15. Save game compatibility is absolutely brilliant! One thing I'd love to see built in a future version of the game, in a similar vein, is the ability to use an older version of the database and start in a prior year, so play FM26 with FM12's database, starting in 2011.
  16. I understand that clubs have promotional wage increases, but Norwich have a pretty strict wage structure in place and £100k a week isn't realistic. Pukki's premier league wages were reported as "well north of £50k" and this is the same contract (he has a 1 year extension clause): https://theathletic.com/3204455/2022/03/24/should-norwich-keep-teemu-pukki/ I'd suggest that "well north" does not mean double and something around £60k would be more fair. For other players, Placheta is a fringe player and the idea that his wage rise is in excess of most other players at the club doesn't have much grounding in reality.
  17. Some of the Norwich promotion wage rises seem absolutely crazy. I just got promoted and my wage bill nearly doubled (putting me 200k over the limit) I've not signed new contracts with players and now Pukki gets £100k a week, Giannoulis and Sara £60k and Placheta £50k. I don't know if the researcher has some evidence that isn't publicly available but these seem pretty wildly unrealistic and outside of the club's wage structure to me.
  18. Newcastle's record transfer is still set to Joelinton, not Isak. Got a message saying I'd broke the record when I splashed £63m on Maddison, not sure if it's triggering at the correct amount but showing the wrong record?
