  1. Thanks for that. I am starting from scratch so will need to think about getting microsoft office too. Therefore my budget is probably upto £400 and my preferred shop would be Currys but im not too fussy about that
  2. Hi Guys, Bonus from work means i can get FM this year and a new laptop. Looking at this laptop here but wondered if it would go fast enough? I dont play many leagues and dont use the match engine too much. I would say quite a basic user tbh. https://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/computing/laptops/laptops/hp-15s-fq1514sa-15-6-laptop-intel-core-i3-128-gb-ssd-silver-10198294-pdt.html Thanks all
  3. Well I was looking at new but my budget is too small for the laptop I want. This laptop is £125 second hand. The laptop will only be used for FM so don't necessarily want a massive payout.
  4. Hi Guys, Looking at buying this laptop and can see processor is listed as 376 on the list on opening page. I didn't know how that would fare, graphics are not too important for me and I don't run big games normally. Thanks
  5. Hi Guys, Top thread here! I have been looking into what laptops I will be able to get. I currently do not have one and will be looking to get on for solely using with FM. I am not a massive user of the 3D match engine so graphics are not top of my list. Have seen the following laptops are you able to offer any advice, options or alternatives? These would be the top end of my budget. https://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/computing/laptops/laptops/acer-nitro-5-15-6-intel-core-i5-gtx-1050-gaming-laptop-1-tb-black-10180720-pdt.html https://www.saveonlaptops.co.uk/9S7-16J962-2073-MSI-GL62M-7RDX-2073UK_2245212.html Many Thanks
  6. Being a bit naive on the whole laptop and technology side of things thought I would seek some advice. Haven't had an FM since 2014 and haven't had a laptop since then either. Happy just playing English leagues down to National N/S, would open up the opportunity to play some other big European countries too but my budget isn't great. Looking at where possible keeping costs to below £450. Any advice much appreciated.
  7. Or there is this one too; http://m.johnlewis.com/mt/www.johnlewis.com/dell-inspiron-15-5559-laptop-intel-core-i3-6gb-ram-1tb-15-6-touchscreen-silver/p2331692?un_jtt_v_pdp=yes&un_jtt_v_from_product=un_product_2#page_loaded As you may have guessed I am looking at John Lewis as its good service and I get a discount there. Thanks
  8. Hi guys, Looking for a new laptop (stupid comment really as I'm on this thread) anyway mainly want it for FM and then a bit of video and photo storage for the family. Have found this one at JL but am no good at specs or anything and as it's mainly for FM just wondered how it would play? I'm not a big database player mainly UK leagues uploaded possibly with one other European country too! http://m.johnlewis.com/mt/www.johnlewis.com/toshiba-satellite-l50-laptop-amd-a10-8gb-ram-1tb-15-/p2293267?colour=Silver&un_jtt_v_pdp=yes&un_jtt_v_from_product=un_product_2#page_loaded Thanks
