  1. Thanks for the reply. I am at Man Utd so I do have a strong squad. What I forgot to mention in my first post is that it was in respect to the attributes of young players. Earlier in the game, say around 15 seasons in, I would see quite a few regens (say around age 17) and instantly want to sign them due to their attributes, rather than the star rating assigned to them. This was the case for quite a while, but as the save has progressed, I was finding less and less regens with attributes that caught my eye, and eventually had to go off their PA rating alone. Now after 36 seasons, I pretty much
  2. I've had a long save going on fmc15. I'm up to 2051 and have slowly been noticing the dropping quality of regens as each season passes by. There is the odd worldie that appears but as I scour through scout reports, I've been finding more and more that hardly any of the higher rated youngsters look good at all via their attributes. Once upon a time you had to choose between who to get, but over the last decade it's become a game of even finding someone worthwhile to bring to the club. I don't know if this is just an issue with my save, or is one with classic mode. This is easily the longest I'v
  3. From what I know, you can on a pc/mac, but I don't think so on tablets/ios.
  4. There's a box you click down bottom right on the Leagues screen when setting up a new save. When clicked, it allows you to set as many as you like.
  5. I think it could be here: 1. Click the Globe icon in top menu. 2. Click on 'Europe' in the next screen. 3. Under 'International', click on 'List.' 4. On next screen, click on 'Nation Club Coefficients.'
  6. If you compare it to an early FM game, like FM07 for example, it's more advanced than that. Whilst FM07 had team talks which FMT doesn't, the tactics system of FMT is the exact same as the full version of FM16, so more complex than that adopted by FM07. There are more options in the transfer market, whilst making a bid and doing contract talks. Being able to adjust the wage and transfer budget is very different to FM07 which didn't have that. So, yeah, FMT is more like recent versions of FM (minus the team talks and the extensive media interactions/player interactions of the full game). I foun
  7. The next news item about it will be something like, "David Beckham and Posh Spice to hold talks about possible move to Birmingham."
  8. There needs to be a clear distinction between the full version and Touch. If too many elements are added each year, that distinction becomes so narrow that it won't be streamlined anymore and will basically be the full game, turned down just a touch...
  9. I fondly remember Rooney complaining about lack of game time on FM07 when he was in the middle of a 3 month injury.
  10. You'll have to wait a while at the start of the season to get media interaction. I don't think it happens early in the season like that.
  11. I set the training to Balanced and Average at all times. On FM15, Individual Training helps with players who complain about too little training. I have just about every player in my squad training to their respective role that they play.
  12. To make sure the player comes back to the First Team when they get match fix, set them to: Available for Reserve Squad Until Match Fit - 90mins. Another thing I do to monitor match fitness of my squad is via the Squad screen, by selecting the down arrow to show 'Fitness.' It allows me to see all their fitness levels at all times, and if the player is hugely important to your team, playing them once they get above 80% match fitness should be okay.
  13. I left Portugal out as I felt it was the weakest of the Euro leagues I originally had loaded. Thanks for posting that Anteater, very interesting. A friend just told me that Van Gaal needs to add the Portugese league in real life to get rid of all the injuries
  14. I eventually used a db with England (4 leagues), Spain (top two), then Italy, Germany, France, Netherlands, Brazil & Argentina (just top leagues) with large db at size of 45K worked to have existing injuries in place. It must be something with my macbook that means I have to stay under 50K or so or else problems start with new saves.
  15. I just noticed something while trying new things with new saves. My original set up was: Leagues loaded: English (top 4 leagues), Spain (top two), Germany, France, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Brazil, Argentina (just top leagues). Database was Large, for total of 49K database size. Game speed was rated at 3 stars. When I tried something different, I reduced the database to: Leagues loaded: English (Top 4), Spain (top two) and Italy, Germany, France, Netherlands (just the top leagues). I removed Portugal, Brazil & Argentina from leagues loaded. Database was Large, for total of 35K size.
  16. When I create a full version save, all existing injuries and bans are in place, but they're all gone when I create an FMC save.
  17. I didn't change the start date all. I just selected leagues to load, set db to large and created the save. I have completely removed all traces of FM15 from my mac, and re-installed. I'm still getting the same issues.
  18. Concerned about no injuries is a first, I grant that I'm glad someone else has noticed it, thanks for replying tyro. This issue wasn't in the demo I tried the other day with an FMC save also with Man Utd. All the existing injuries were there at the start, to Shaw, Carrick, Rafael etc. I completely uninstalled the game from my mac and steam, and re-installed to find the same issue when starting a new FMC career save.
  19. I just bought the full version of FM15 yesterday and started up a new career today with FMC. I only just noticed after some time setting up my team that there are no existing injuries on any of my players. The existing injuries to my squad (Man Utd) were there when I recently play the demo. I started a new career on FMC mode to see if this was just isolated to one save game, but it happened again on the new save game. I don't know if this is some new feature of FMC or a bug of some sort. I looked around at other EPL teams and no teams have injured players at all.
  20. I've always looked at this bar not quite knowing how it progresses. Sometimes it's orange, sometimes green. I know that when it changes to green it means the player is progressing, but does it have to go all the way to the right for the player to gain an extra half star in their CA? I haven't found any info about it so not sure how to read it properly, in regards to how my young player is progressing. Even when say a 20yo in my first team gets 23 starts in a season, it will remain orange the whole time.
  21. I recently signed a wonderkid forward who has very promising stats for a 20yo. I didn't notice when signing that he has Important Matches as weakness. I normally check the weaknesses before signing a player but forgot to this time. He played well second half of last season getting 10 goals and 6 assists from 17 starts. But I did notice he struggled in the big end of season games and I had to sub him less than an hour in. Is there any chance this weakness can improve say with age? With no ability to tutor on FMC, does the training help with it at all? Am I going to be stuck with a great player
  22. Thanks Aaron, I never thought to think of that. I guess after playing FM07 for some 5 years I was used to that system which is very different than this one.
  23. I'm into in my 12th season now with Man Utd. I'm noticing how the quality of regens is going down as each season goes on. I have a 5 star scout with 20/20 for JPA & JPP. In the player search window, setting the filter to search for players no older than 18, with unrealistic transfers unticked, the search only finds 7 players with a PA of 4 stars or higher. In much earlier seasons, this search would have found 10 times as many with 4 star PA's or higher. It's getting to the point where I'm struggling to find any young players to sign who have any kind of quality. A few times of late, I've j
  24. Sorry to hear that. Job confidence in this game is pretty tough it seems from what I've seen of friend's games. I can't get my Job Security above 69% at Man Utd no matter how many trophies we win. Won 6 of 7 possible trophies last season, got to 69%. Season before won all 7 on offer, got to 67%. My confidence level just moves from 61 to 69 each season without any real change no matter how brilliant of a season we have. We've won 49 trophies in 9 seasons. 9 EPL's, 8 UCL's, 6 FA Cups, 6 Carling Cups plus a load of Club World Champs, UEFA Super Cups & Charity Shields. There's no pleasing some
