  1. cheers mate!
  2. Can someone tell me how to get rid of the default player shadow that appears when you dont have a players real picture. Have tried a few things nothing works? Cheers
  3. Cacau from Stuttgart surely? Another 2 goals today (his teams only 2). The vital goal against Barcelona in midweek and 4 goals in the game before that. He was only supposed to be a back-up player, not anymore!
  4. In the FM2010 Challenge it would be nice to be able to retain more foreign players as the English teams will have a huge advantage over the rest of Europe when you start getting to 2020 onwards.
  5. Currently in 2019 season with Bedford in the Championship. Anyone else found this the hardest league to get promotion from? I'm in yet another relegation tussle?
  6. Dont give up Gilbster, your posts inspire me and i'm sure others aswell. Ever thought about uploading your current save at the start of your next season? You could start a new topic in the challenges forum and see if people can take over your club and turnaround the disharmony and end up winning the champions league. Although I would understand if you thought it might not be a good idea because its your save that you've built up for over 20 or more seasons. Anyway my point is don't give up, we all believe in you!
  7. BTW, If anyone doesn't realise.. Watford are highlighted because I am their feeder club.
  8. First season in League 2, just knocked out Sheff Utd in the Carling cup 2nd round. Look who I have drawn in the next round: MMM, I smell money...
  9. BEDFORD TOWN 2012-13 promotion to league 2! A bad start to the season which saw a great home record offset by an away record consisting of just one win in about 15 games. Made a late push towards the end, which brought us into the playoff positions for the first time in the whole season with about 3 games to spare. Ended up 4th in the BS Prem, after losing in the playoffs last year I was hoping for more luck this year: Beat 2nd place Kettering in the playoff final on pens after a tense 1-1 draw which we were fortunate to win due to getting outplayed the whole 120 minutes. My best player, a loanee from parent club Watford, was Fairweather, top scorer in the league: My squad this season was better than last years with more depth affording me at least 2 decent players in each position allowing me for injuries, most of which were on non-extravagant wages which helped: Having said that, now I'm in L2 I have offloaded the majority of them as the quality in players I can now attract has really jumped to a next level now I have become pro. Wish me luck in the professional league, will be happy with mid-table, but quite a few people are getting promoted from L2 in their 1st season with 4 promotion spots up for grabs so you never know...
  10. Bedford Town 2011-12 BS Prem Season Review Came 3rd Lost in playoff semi final against Forest Green 5-3 on agg Parent club is Watford Finances are 170k I am not very good at updates, I suck
  11. I'm in February in the BS Prem and my GK is my highest assist maker with 7 assists. Unbelievable! Guess all the long balls are paying off, I'm 5th at the moment trying to hold on to that elusive last playoff spot.
  12. Congrats on your season Gilbster, all your determination has paid off.
  13. Mine used to say that, but now he is just content with the club, wonder what that could potentially mean?
  14. Well done Scab mate, and stadium sounds awesome. Wonder if there is any room for further improvement on top..maybe a few extra thousand seats
