NO. He is a long way from his prime, and you can't put a pricetag on passion. Plus, you are already 1st in league in January from that screenshot, so let the kid win the title with his hometown club. Don't loan out Gravenberch either.

Maybe this DominicForza can create his own club called "Team Testosterone" and put Pogba as his captain. I am sure he can find a full squad of cheats if he follows Juve that closely.
On topic: Bellingham got a small upgrade and is now the closest thing to resemble Steven Gerrard in his prime. You could say the heir is already in the LFC squad (Szoboszlai), but he will need 2 more seasons before the LFC researcher can justify bumping him all the way up to prime Gerrard level.

Back on topic: what's your best tutor successes in the first season? I've only had luck with VVD->Quansah (Bajcetic did not respond at all). I am thinking of trying Endo->Bajcetic but need a 3rd member for that mentoring group.

Quansah got an upgrade so you'd be well served keeping him (and his low wages). His brother plays up the road at Southport (great little league team to take over when you get bored of winning everything with LFC).
With Bradley and Ramsay holding down the rightback position for the next 15 years, you'll want to move TAA into the midfield and Gomez into the center of your defense. Then you'll have VVD and Konate as your first-choice pairing, and Gomez and Quansah as a solid backup pair. No need to buy anyone until VVD hangs it up.
Recommended signings for season 2 is a solid AMC (to take some of the pressure off Mac Allister). Unfortunately Carvalho is not up to the task anymore. For me it's going to be Messi, Musiala, or Wirtz.

Don't tell people his PA is "only a tiny tiny bit lower than Salah's". It's spoiling the game for others since most will have a pretty good idea of what Salah's PA is. And more importantly, his PA is random so you quoting a set figure is meaningless.
I am actually surprised that Nypan got a higher world rating than Lamine Yamal. One plays in the godforsaken place of Trondheim with the amateurs, the other plays in Barcelona and has made his senior debut for Spain. Nypan is around 7 months younger. I wonder if his world rating is there just to ensure he ends up in a fairly good foreign club.

Jota's finishing increased, Darwin's finishing decreased (and a slight PA change). Will be interesting to see if I can get these two to perform to the point where I can compete without bringing in a world class striker.
Long-term goal has to be to get one of these youngsters to win a Ballon d'Or. I don't recall LFC ever having this many world class prospects in FM.
Joe Gomez is actually one hell of a centreback. Start him regularly and he fulfills that last bit of PA if he avoids injuries.
Salah added as a LFC legend in the update. This makes the backlash of selling him to the Saudis even more devastating I presume.

I found that if you have a fitness coach refusing to take courses, he is more likely to accept if you change his contract to coach. But it is rare that a staff member is capable of both these roles.

What role? I have him on defensive midfielder (defend) in the DMC position and I've never even seen him make a foul. Just tidies up and keeps it simple.

What's everyone's experience with Endo? For me he is vital in my 4-3-3 Wide as a defensive midfielder in the DM position. Can't imagine selling him. Once Bajcetic is ready to take over, he won't complain about being backup either!
Endo never lets me down - never gets a card. Proof positive that PA (don't spoil it) is not everything in this game. And I notice my younger players are picking up positive traits (professionalism/pressure stat) out of nowhere, which has to be thanks in part to the presence of Endo in my squad. Anyone had him succesfully tutor Bajcetic?

Why shouldn't we be allowed to filter out what sex we want? When I go to the doctor I can request if I want a female or male doctor. I am sure some footballers are also weary of what sex they want. Just imagine if the player got accidentally kicked in the groin during a match and had to be examined. Would you want a male or female poking around down there? SI already introduced "sexual orientation" in the game by letting some newgens come out as "openly gay", and that seems way more controversial than some innocent little filter.

Yup, this is pretty much my conclusion too. SI can confirm if the set piece coach makes a difference? They have said that if you don`t have a sport scientist, then the physio does the sport scientist job, but not as effective. So I am wondering if the human manager doing the set piece coaching will also be not as effective.

Maybe the set piece coach is only there to COACH attributes needed for set piece routines (in the same manner as a fitness coach only coach strength & quickness)... while the set pieces themselves can be set up by the human manager and will be carried out with the same chance of success REGARDLESS if you have a set piece coach in your coaching team. Would make my day if someone from SI took the time to comment on this.
My theory is that having a dedicated set piece coach makes a positive difference. The ony thing I have to go on is playing the same team over and over in different saves and comparing with and without using a set piece coach.

I've noticed for a few saves with Liverpool now that I'm always at the top of "goals scored from corners" when I bring in Bernardo Cueva as my set piece coach. However, on my last save I decided to pick myself as the one doing the set piece coaching (I've given myself top score for every relevant section and am therefore a 5 star set piece coach), thereby not having a set piece coach at the club. Shockingly, halfway through the season I have scored zero goals from corners (with the exact same routines as in previous saves). The top team has 5 goals from corners. So I'm wondering if hiring a set piece coach actually matters, or if this is just a freak coincidence.

If I set the priority to "standard" I just get new messages telling me the recruitment focus is finished. That's no good. I want the recruitment focuses to be ongoing and not be bothered about reading about them in my inbox every few days.... then I'll check manually what is going on every few months via the scouting center.
I noticed you can actually filter the messages in your inbox. If I untick "scouting" the annoying ongoing focus updates are removed. But there's no way to make the filter stick. After you hit continue it defaults back to showing all messages. Surely this is another malfunction.

I think the club has been looking for a leftfooted young centreback if the rumor mill is to be believed. My top choice for this would be Gvardiol (LFC supporter), but might receive backlash from fans for bringing in a player from your rivals. Another one is Gonçalo Inácio.
Musiala could replace Salah, but the question is do you want his replacement to be a winger or an inverted winger? Another option is to rotate Jota and Doak for the AMR position, and spend the money elsewhere. Doak is world class if you are max lucky with his random potential.

You would have to have world class replacements ready to sign quickly. I would imagine certain members of the squad would complain about lack of depth in the AMR position. It also depends what your rep is and if the players support you.

He`s asking for something like 400K-450K a week to extend at the start of season 2. Seems excessive. Anyone have any experience with running down his contract until 2 months left and see if he`s willing to accept less wages? I was able to make Milner come to his senses with this ploy on the previous version.

Unfortunately, there is no option to disable January window, but you can go into the editor and give a global transfer embargo to all clubs until your season is over. I always do this for my games. Even with the global transfer embargo, the real world transfers will still go through.

My suggestion above (setting every youngster at their max PA scale) is the way to go. I can't tell you how enjoying it is to integrate Quansah, Beck, Bradley, Doak, etc and seeing that they are all good enough to be kept around in the squad.
I doubt Bradley will get a fixed PA that is higher than his PA range in the next update. Rightbacks with high PA are rare.

As you can see from my attached screenshot of my game, I am getting these "Ongoing focus update" messages almost every day. The recruitment focuses are set to "ongoing". Anyone from SI care to offer a solution? I do not want to leave scouting in the hands of my staff - I want to set it up manually like I have done.

I set up scouting myself and have 20 scouts working on 60 different focuses. This results in absolute spam in my inbox, where almost every day I get the message "ongoing focus update" about one or more of these particular focuses. It feels completely unnecessary and I have not figured out how to limit the frequency or better yet: remove it.
When I scout for players, I am ready to check for how the recruitment focuses are faring myself. Then I go into the scouting section and check manually. How do I remove this spam from my inbox without setting my chief scout to handle scouting?

Set them to fullback on default mentality. You'll concede far less shots on goals. Wingbacks are really only useful when there are no wingers in front of them to provide crosses. The fulllbacks in LFC already got enough PPMs to bomb forward.
