  1. Very nice. I presume you have RVP up in front in a support role?
  2. Thanks for that. I've been using Reus as AML - Inside Forward - Attack and he'd scored 8 in 14 there. Mata as AP - S and Januzaj as IF - S on the other flank. I'm top of the league but their goals and assists are drying up so I'm tweaking things a little. May swap the wide men into wingers for a while. Thanks for the tip.
  3. Any tips for using Mata-Januzaj-Reus as the three in a 4-2-3-1. Started off well with Mata is an Attacking Playmaker in the centre but Adnan and Marco are living off scraps as Inside Forwards.
  4. Have had problems getting properly sucked in by FM this year. Well, that was the case until I started a West Ham save. Mid-way through February and here's the league table: And a few results: Fifth! And still in with half a chance of Champions League football! The financial constraints have posed some challenges and the team is pretty knackered now but they've continued to get results with this tactic I've developed: Peter Crouch, who I signed to replace Carroll during his absence, has been an absolute standout with Razvan Rat, Ravel Morrison and Matt Jarvis each contributing assists, goals and a huge threat down the flanks. Mark Noble has thrived in the regista role, spraying passes and through balls out to Jarvis and Morrison who terrorise full-backs before either laying crosses in for Crouch or going it alone. The objective now is to secure Europa League football, get rid of some of the loftier contracts and bring in some younger, more dynamic players as well as an experienced centre-back and goalkeeper to bring some solidity and poise to our defence.
  5. Sickener Falahk. Finding Roma in this year's game surprisingly harder than previous seasons. That's despite a far stronger midfield and defence. Go figure!
  6. Borriello is great for me whenever I bring him on as a sub but he's not going to cut it as a starter (IMHO). Totti as a false 9/trequartista up top with inside forwards outside him is the way I'm going at the moment (not to much success).
  7. Thanks man. Have opted for Michy Batshuayi of Standard Liége. Cerri was snapped up by Inter after rejecting Sabatini's contract offer and I'm not too enamoured by either Zaza or Berardi's Juve ties. Michy's pace, finishing and composure should help him to make the most of through balls from Totti and Pjanic. That's the plan at least!
  8. Finding it difficult to get established as Roma in the first season and I think I know why - Marco Borriello. Any suggestions for a nippy striker who would join from the get-go to improve the mobility of the front three?
  9. Club: Norwich City Transfer Budget: Up to £9m Wage Budget: Prepared to pay up to £40,000 Position: Striker With: Pace Other: Loyalty Bonus: Agent Bonus: Season: January first window. After an excellent start to the season my Canaries are now on a 5 game losing streak and can't rely on Van Wolfswinkel or Hooper for goals. I need a striker guaranteed to score 15-20 per season and with a bit of pace.
