I've probably had this half a dozen times where there is a goal review by VAR and it's incorrectly given offside (in actual fact I think all VAR goals are given offside), it looks like the AI is calling it offside simply if anyone is offside whether they're involved in play or not (and no they are not interfering with play). I've only taken note of the last couple, is this a known bug? I can't find anything anywhere, how is this not a more common issue raised? I can upload if need be.

No one seems to be able to help!!!!!
So I've downloaded the English Tier 10 database and started a save with a team in Tier 8. I am unable to loan any players in what so ever, I have tested it out and no matter what club I swap too in Tier 7 or below (custom part of the database) I can't loan players, however, teams around me in the same league are loaning players in, a few, not a lot. I simulated to different transfer windows, nothing changed.
Is this a glitch with the database or can you not loan players that low down? (doesn't explain how other teams are loaning in though).0 -

This problem was raised prior to release along with many others that are still ongoing, I haven't played for nearly 2 weeks, jump on the forums every day though to see if anything has been fixed, nope. I've actually found myself playing Fifa.

He is underrated atleast in potential. But then again half the Man Utd team are grossly overrated, IE: Lingard, Martial, Jones, Rojo, Lindelof (I'm a Man Utd fan too)

So I went and had a look at the analysis screen and in 3 saves, approx 50 games played, I've never had an assist via a cross or a squared ball (except in a couple friendlies where I played low league teams and won 8-0ish), in previous FM's this would have been 75% of my goals due to my tactical preferences.

I can concur that the above problems are still occuring despite the patch, the patch has actually made things worse for a lot of aspects. I'm not providing PKM's, there's been thousands already, I ended up finding myself creating a tactic to deal with the following bugs. Yeah, some will say this is a bug forum not whinge forum, but its got to that point, SI shouldn't have released a game so far from being finished, I turned it off 2 days ago but am monitoring the forum's hoping to see a change.
* Balls over the top with defenders slow to react and instructions don't seem to matter.
* Penalties - scoring about 20-30% - way too low
* Decision making from wide players is a disaster, shots from stupid angles into the side netting, lack of crossing, never squaring the ball, I have literally never had a wide player sprint down the side line and cross a ball in.
* One on ones, virtually never score
* Freak GK abilities
* Blatant ignoring of great passing options
* AI seems to be able to play with a different set of tactics and physics, can have a team just turn it on when they like.

Oh and can't forget about penalties, just lost on penalties to Brentford (as Man Utd) 1-0, so 9 penalties missed. Plus we missed two in the game, Greenwood on a hatrick, it suddenly jumps to a penalty and Im given no time to change penalty taker and he misses (is a bad penalty taker).

These are the match engine bugs that have destroyed this years game, outside of the actual match-play I'm happy but I'm devastated because I just can't play it, I'm giving up, I don't know what Im going to do, FM19 or find a new hobby for a while and come back in a few months for another crack and see if things are better. Goodbye my love.

Thanks for the reply, hopefully SI are able to manage a fix along with the 1 on 1 issue that still seems to be around.

Yep, I hope it gets rectified soon, not trying to be an ungrateful twit coz I'm constantly sticking up for SI but I can't play it like this because its happening 10 times a game. I've turned FM off for now.

Coolio, try this, so in the attached game I'm managing Dortmund, Julian Brandt on the RW is probably the best example. I played this game on comprehensive highlights which highlighted the issue better

I'd love to upload but this website in all its wisdom keeps coming up with a message stating I can only upload 9.7mb and therefore won't let me upload a save. I've had this issue with every game I've started I can't understand how the "crossing" issue is not raging everywhere.

It seems to be this along with crossing is a combined issue, its wide players not passing and either shooting or running it out or giving it back to a FB, it is killing me because it makes it unplayable with wide players.

20.1.4 - I'm not one to usually complain, I'm always sticking up for SI but I'm personally finding the game unplayable due to my tactical preferences. I always like to play a tactic where wide players run the ball into the box & cross from the byline. FM20 players refuse to cross the ball when in this position (or any other wide positions), I have players on there own with an open ST and they hold it and hold it and hold it until a defend catches up and they either run it out of play or turn around and give it to a FB who **** farts around with it. Driving me insane!

Should have Joe Grayson coming too. Just finished pre-season games, Danny Lloyd has been key man along with Lois Maynard. Rooney unfortunately hasn't fired, 1 goal in 5 games (team 19-1).
Also loaned Tom Edwards from Stoke and Gideon Adu-Pep for free.

Cheers peeps, at this stage I'm looking at Salford or FC United. I've made half-assed attempts with them prior but nothing special.

I experience this all the time, I posted 6 months ago about it I'm pretty sure, got no reply. I have had one a few weeks ago where the player who was onside was onside by about 5-10 metres, called a player offside on the other side of the pitch nowhere near play, goal overturned. I've attached a PKM for another one where a goal at the 16 min mark is overturned calling the wrong player offside.
