  1. I have a strange registration issue that I've never seen before.

'Unavailable to play club football in official matches from [date] to [date].  Seems to only affect one club in the Canadian Premier League in my db, I've noticed that the players in question have a duplicate entry for the team in their playing history 'York United FC'. There was a duplicate York United team, which I removed. I removed the entry in the playing history for the missing team, and I removed another other club entries that overlapped into the 2020 season. I also amended their contracts to start at the beginning of the 2020 season and still it does not fix it.

Has anyone else seen this before?

  2. Hi everyone,

I just encountered a strange thing in my custom DB, I made some edits and re-verified and saved, now after loading a new career game all my team and competition IDs are different. This has screwed up all my custom logos as you can imagine, plus the IDs are different than what is showing in the FM Editor for the db file. What the heck is going on?

    Thanks

  3. Haha didn't even realize there's been chat going on here for a couple of weeks, sorry for the delays everyone, I've been buried in editing this DB and  I've been messing around trying to get the regional promotion and relegation to work consistently and re-organizing the leagues to work properly with Fmfan00 for a while now. We've nailed it down as you see in the comment above. ^

I'm noticing some of the lower leagues don't have enough games so I'm going to adjust the rounds and I've added a reserve division system that I'm trying out also. We have some logos that I'm adding to the Canadian Megapack, we've got a lot of teams but some of the fictional teams need logos.  Don't really have custom kits yet either but I think we can add to this once we release the full DB that everyone can try playing.

Also to comment on the fictional teams, basically I've gone looking all around Canada and included every significant senior men's team I can find in the country. If you can't find a specific team you want in here, just message us and we can add it in. I've also created some fictional teams to represent towns or cities I believe should be included in the system. But those are mostly in the lower divisions, other than I believe FC Regina included in the CPL and Nordiques CF (Quebec City) which will be in the second division. I just felt those two big cities needed to be represented that way in this fantasy world. Because it truly is a fantasy DB (We've got a team in Nunavut!).  With these fantasy teams, there is plenty of opportunity for custom badges and kits we can add to the graphics pack.

    Any suggestions let us know!

Yeah this is for old version of editor and i need to change this but im too lazy for 2 years :)

I changed lot settings related to this system - also some default editor settings are changed so you cant use this system anymore.

Now - what is your question? I dont know how your system works in real life so i cant answer.

Basically I'm building a Canadian Pyramid and would like to have Provincial lower divisions, I'm not sure exactly how the promotion and relegations will work, but I was thinking it would be similar to Serie C in Italy, playoffs for promotion places or I could do it more simply with automatic relegation and promotion based on the regions of the teams. It would be nice to have a step by step tutorial on how to relegate teams to the correct regional division in the current editor.

  5. Can someone please do a write up on how to best setup up promotion and relegation from regional divisions to national divisions? Especially for FM21 Editor, I can't seem to find how to set up Stages in this current edition, the examples earlier in this thread is from an old version of the editor.  Much appreciated anyone who writes this article!
