Update to mine, did a couple of Apple updates this morning, then tried the game.

Now it doesn’t load at all just goes straight to a blank white screen. Disables Mac while on white screen but then after a while game closed itself and went back to Mac being usable again. No idea what it means but it defo different to before. Also saw this in another thread, I can’t see how on High Sierra if / how you can do this???

Can all of you affected by this issue please provide your System info as instructed here? - https://support.sega.co.uk/hc/en-gb/articles/360015264478-How-to-Find-my-system-DxDiag-system-information#text

We're fairly certain it's affecting users on 10.13.6 with Intel HD 3000 graphics, but would be good to clarify.

If any of you are in a position to update your Operating System (which is free on Mac) we would suggest trying to do so.

My system report attached as requested.

As @Barrymontana says, most of our 2011 Macbook Pros are maxed out at 10.13.6.

Theres the potential to revert to a previous version of MacOS but doing so is a tedious process and security updates would be sacrificed as they're no longer supported by Apple. Although I guess it wouldn't be too much of a sacrifice as High Sierra's end of support date is 30th November 2020.

Not sure if helpful, to be honest im

    no computer whizz kid!

found a league of legends thread in regards to it crashing on High Sierra, it’s says about “insensitive case” and “sensitive case” and asks you to create a new disk image 🤷‍♂️

link if anyone knows more than me (not hard!)

I tried this but didn't work unfortunately. Thanks for trying though.

For info, followed the guide above, uninstalled FM21, remapped my Steam downloads/installs to the new disc and reinstalled FM21.

Tried in window mode, turning the graphics to minimum etc. Same problem persists

Resolution is 1280 x 800 on my Macbook, however I am unsure on the in-game resolution (zoom) as I'm unable to get into the game. I would assume what ever the default is, unless there is another way to check?

Mine is the same. After following the guide, it looks to be 1280 x 800 too.

Looks like it's an issue with High Sierra. After a bit of googling, a lot of other games have similar problems with it. Hopefully there's a fix soon
