  1. They always update the game late feb/early march and in the last 2 or 3 years they split the update in 2. So not too long now... although it did pass a long time since the last update
  2. Warren Zaire-Emery is in PSG's lineup today. We know he will never be in a starting eleven in FM23 as things stand.
  3. Haven't played the game in a month and with the update around the corner i wonder if they fixed anything related to AI using promising young players more in their lineups...
  4. That guy clearly is a CM in a 4-3-3 or a deep playmaker in a 4-2-3-1 paired with a solid defensive DM. No way you should play him as the holding midfielder in a 4-3-3.
  5. The issue could be that i started this save before the latest update. I don't have any other saves post update to check if it happens after that...
  6. This is what i have selected. I think it's the default, i didn't touch anything here.
  7. Is it normal for all the games in the new UCL format to take place in the same day and at the same hour in group stage?
  8. I think i have at least 50 games like this since i started playing this game. Obviously my tactic sucks and the AI scores by creating quality chances. result = 1-1
  9. Game seems smoother after the update. Thanks. Looking forward to the first winter update.
  10. Maaan at some point they should take a year just to polish some rough edges like player interaction, conferences, Ai squad building and make it a 20 bucks paid update. I dont think they will go bankrupt if they do this
  11. They removed almost all formations that AI can use but the standard ones like 4-2-3-1, 4-3-3, 4-4-2, 5-2-3 or 5-3-2. It's not possible even in the editor.
  12. Users Gk in poor form is something that happens constantly in my save. I never fined the GK so many times in any FM to date.
  13. They were split in two, one around mid feb and the last around mid-march
  14. AI Managers that have playing style "passing" and manager tendencies "plays out of defence" and "work ball into box" will make their teams have sometimes ridiculous amount of possession. Even if they manage a relegation team they will be in top possession stats. If you don't have the same, prepared to lose the possession stat by a mile...
  15. Well in PL the team that hit the woodwork the most is Liverpool, 12 times so far... I hit it 12 times in 4-5 games in-game... https://www.premierleague.com/stats/top/clubs/hit_woodwork?se=489
  16. Well... a part of the problem is that the AI never uses their second pref formation at the start of a game, no matter how bad they underperform with their pref formation. Some flexibility to AI using formations would be welcome
  17. I think there are too many woodworks per game. It's like there is a magnet that attracts the ball to hit the bar.... Anyone having this issue? I doubt im the only one
  18. I am tending to agree to this post. To me it seems there are too many games which your GK plays rubbish and the opponent GK makes the game of his life. I've never had this issue pop up since i play FM.. In this year it happens way too often to think it's just coincidence.
  19. I second this argument and in fact come with my own example. I had a good youngster coming through the academy and purchased by Tottenham when he was starting to develop quite good. Now he sits in their U21 squad while they have this 29 year on the bench. Game breaking AI logic. Why is the 29 year old in their main squad and the 18 year old with clearly much more potential in their u21?
  20. Yeah... i had more time to play these days and i didn't want to believe that it's this bad. I can't even try to understand the logic behind some of the AI's squad selection. Reputation shouldn't count as much. It's not like any real manager will select a player in their squad based on how many times he's appeared on the front page of a newspaper.
  21. I will gladly submit any reports but i have the impression that SI is already aware of this after more than 1 year of reports, starting from Fm 22
  22. Can someone provide me a valid reason why Tottenham would have this player on their bench , 29 year old with no potential and n And not him? The only explanation is reputation. The AI is BLIND to a player's potential. They just see reputation. I agree that it's hard to find a balance but when the logic is non-existent we must call it. EDIT: THE GAME EVEN VALUES THE YOUNGER PLAYER MORE THAN THE 29-year old. THIS IS DEFINETLY A BUG IN MY VIEW.
