For me I found fm 2018 to be the most balanced out of the recent fms. I Also had success playing many different types of formations and tactical styles.

I would say it's the best match engine we have had since fm 2018. As far as variety goes fm 2019 to fm 2023 was awful.

I wouldn't say the in game editor is an essential purchase. The free pre game editor that comes with the game does everything you need.

There's always the option of using the pre game writer to make the injuries the way you want it. Personally I leave all of the durations the same but half the occurrence ratios . That seems to work fine.

I disagree with you. Despite leicesters title win Palace are still a bigger club than Leicester. It isn't an unrealistic switch.

You need to go to staff responsibilities and delegate the set piece routines to your set piece coach if you don't want to do it.

Hi. I am a hard-core fm 2018 fan that only played a little of the more recent fms up to this point. One thing I've noticed in match day is I don't see the goal updates or the ability to view the latest scores from the other games being played in the league at the same time. Has the option to view these been removed? Also call me crazy but apart from the graphics I much prefer the fm 2018 match engine. The tactics overhaul is a positive thing but I dislike the fact that due to time consumption I now have to leave the general training to my assistant. I still do the individual training though. The game does feel bloated now. I think I'll go back to fm 2018 and hope that the revamp next year is more to my liking.

Hi. In past versions there has been errors verifying advanced rules in pre game editor in certain european nations on release. Will this release of fm 2023 have the pre game editor checked for errors before release. Thanks.

My favourite match engine is fm 2018. For me something went wrong from 19 onwards.
