What you have there is something over and above what you'd need, but it is basically absolutely top of the range in terms of its specs.
However, if you don't mind a 17" display rather than an 18" once, this is over £1,000.00 cheaper: ttps://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/saved-configurations/recoil-VII-17/SkQHJcgUEa/
The main difference aside from that is the CPU, which is marginally less powerful, but still right at the top end of what is currently available. It still has the same resolution and refresh rate screen as the ASUS.
Much appreciated - I think I gravitated to 18 inch Asus as that's exactly what my current one is. I'd be happy with 17... the linked website looks a little intimidating - is there anything in particular I need to be careful with when buying? Sorry...

Sorry for posting but I'm such a novice with all the numbers and letters on the processors etc. I'm looking for a really decent laptop that:
-Should run latest versions of FM fast with large databases
-Should be able to run TGC2019 (golf sim software) well and smoothly (https://shopindoorgolf.com/pages/tgc-2019-system-requirements)
-Should be able to run Formula One Manager 23 well
-Will enable me to do basic video editing etc
-Should run WindowsI was looking at the Asus ROG Strix Scar 18 (£4,000 ish). Is this a reasonable choice? Are there similar options that are more affordable or better options at that price point?
Ideal price would be around the £2k mark but don't want to give up too much in spec so could stretch to the £4k if necessary etc.
Any input appreciated.
Thanks

Sorry if I've missed this but I have tried to read through the posts in this thread. I'm using the Fm23 - is there any code I (novice) can easily modify to remove the Simulate Match button please?
Thanks

I'm not saying it never happens or should never happen in FM. Just that I think it is more rare in real football than in previous editions of FM.
I also think moving for a starting role at a large club at 17 or so is far more realistic than agreeing to move to an Under 18 team for example.
Let's see how it pans out on FM23.

For what it's worth I disagree wholeheartedly with this. The whole point of FM is managing a football team within the constraints of that particular club.
I think this change actually adds realism rather than detracts from it - how many 15 or 16 year olds would uproot and leave their families for £55 p/w? In my mind they are much more likely to make the move at 15 to the top club in the local area and then to an elite club when they are older still. Hopefully interest of these players to move is more based on location now and not just club reputation.
I do agree that the development bug needs rectifying urgently but think the interest of youth players is a refreshing change.

During a network game with a friend the connection was lost.
Despite restarts of steam I have the following in the game status: (My computer has full internet connection, he can also see no joinable games) We have played since the beta release with no issues.

Would it be possible for anyone to send me the original versions of this tactic please? The ones for 9.0.2? As previously mentioned the links for these are broken.
Thanks.
