A challenging save? On the majority of the saves on FM, they win the appeal in November and then buy big in Jan. I know I did and went and won the league. They have some cracking youngsters, so not really a challenge!

I'm trying Havertz as deeplying attacker, because neither Haaland or Abraham have been great. So far it has worked out, but he will also play some games as RW. Mount is fantastic and so is James. Amazing to see my own talents become world class.
What position do you play Mount? I have him just behind Tammy and they have the green link up relationship. Also, Callum has turned it on BIG time. Finally becoming the player we thought he’d be. First season he was a bit iffy.

I won my appeal in November, so was allowed to sign players in January. I’ve also read people that have had the appeal rejected and had to wait until summer. You can pre-sign players from 1st Feb I believe.

Flying mate. Just like we did IRL at the start of the season. Hopefully you can keep ya up there, whereas we’ve been struggling of late. The difference between full time and part time is huge!

Is Lautaro any good? I’ve just hit December too and been given £88m to spend. This is after the board agreed to sign Florentino Luis from Benfica for £67m. Have agreed a deal to sign Haaland for £30m. Selling Willian to United for £30m - 6 months before his contract is due up.

But I've decided to wait until release to start my save as I'd like to edit out Brexit first.
Thinking that I'd target Chilwell for left back and maybe Aarons from Norwich so I have two young rightbacks. Not sure about other positions yet.
You have Reece James for the right back position and can even train Tomori to play there and he does do well as cover for James too.
Ian Maatsen is highly thought of around the club IRL, hopefully he is on the game too.

£426 MILLION. After a record spend out at start of season, I've only got £9m in the bank. Have you been taken over again or just built it up with sales etc? One thing I haven't made a lot on is player sales. Got a few wonder kids, who im hoping either stay with me long term or I can sell on for big money.

Ha, that’s how I feel. At work at the moment and just wanna get home and play. Been my most favourite and enjoyable save ever on the fm series.
Finances are ok-Ish, roughly £62m in the bank, new stadium on the way. Move in June 2026. Just heading into july 2025 now, facilities getting there too. Constantly asking to upgrade. I have no affiliations which is bugging the hell out of me, but nothing I can do, I suppose! I’ve had every big club require my services and turned them all down.
I’m getting there with the squad, some decent additions this pre season and quietly confident I can do well. 🤞.

👏. Just catching up on this mate. You’re doing fantastic. Well done. I’ve just completed my first 2 seasons in prem, finished 9th both times. But this season, I’m a little more confident and hoping to get a Europa place 🤞.

Quailty form mate, going very well. Keep it up! Did you attend Newcastle interview? Ive had loads and used them to get better deals or terms on my contract. Usually ask for better facilities.
