Totally agree. Far too many hitting the woodwork and if SI think it's not a problem they are turning a blind eye to something that is completely obvious.

At some point in my Gateshead save, I made a number of players available for the U18s to maintain their match fitness. This was for one match.
Now, I see a number of them ALWAYS available for U18s even though I don't click this as an option. I checked staff responsibilities and cannot see where this is a user choice, so it appears to be a bug. The example below shows the status of the player, in this case Alex Nicholson, RB, however, it happens to other players. I confirm again I DO NOT select to make them available for next match. This occured of it's own accord.
**UPDATE** Archie Elmore, a sub for the first team, now shows as available for U18s after playing ahead two days where U18s had a match. I did not touch anything, just moved forward a day. Nicholson remains available too.
If this is a user setting can anyone help how to control this happening please. Thanks. Malcolm

When my squad has more than 22 players in the first-team squad and I sort the squad by starting XI first (see screenshot) the squad view always shows the reserves and the bottom of the list rather than showing the GK first. This means I have to scroll everytime. On previous versions the list defaulted to the top.
As you can see from the screenshot, the highest in the list is the DR, the GK is above that, but is not visible.

I signed this player for £45.5m for Gateshead, who I got from VNN through to Premier League. Pegam is possibly going to become the best ever Footballer. He's already won almost everything and is only 22. He has scored over 100 goals in one year for us. The best player I've ever bought and I've played since CM 93. Signed renewed his contract and got rid of a £104m release fee that had not dissuaded clubs from showing major interest. Makes the game worth playing!

I started a new save with FM14 NUFC. I managed to sell Williamson for £1.5m and bought Kyle Bartley as a replacement and sold Tiote for £9m and brought in Tom Ince for £3.9m. As he arrives next summer I spent £1.1 on Leon Osman from Everton as an interim. Also signed DR Cavanda. I also signed Simone Padoin on the wing and Mason Bennett. Currently trying to sell Marveaux, Obertan, Ameobi, Newton and Jonas to continue rebuilding.
Started well. I managed to beat Spurs, Man City and Liverpool in the league and after 13 games I'm top by 2 points with 30 points in total. I play a 4-2-3-1 with Krul, Santon, Debuchy, Yanga-Mbiwa, Coloccini (S Taylor), Anita, Gosling (Osman) LW: Remy, Ben Arfa (RW) Sissoko AMC (10 goals in 11 games) and Cisse (De Jong) up front on his own. Great tactics, I spent ages going through best suited roles and shouts for each player for each position they play. I use a fluid control tactic exploiting the flanks and retaining possession. Counter if I'm struggling with a more direct route on the break if that does not appear to be working.
