  1. Love the "real world" mode, as described in the last video.
  2. I'd also like to give Chelsea a try if they struggle as much in the game as they do in real life.
  3. The fixture list not focusing on the next match date for, like, the last 10 versions of FM.
  4. The volley into the ground shot is something I've been missing from FM. I also liked how a player waved his arm in one of the videos to get the attention of his teammate (I assume). Looking good.
  5. Yeah, yeah. But where's the beta? Is it out yet? Is it out yet?
  6. I think the loan back feature is broken. Every time I do this, other clubs start to bid like crazy on the player when he "returns" to my club before he have played one single game for me, despite him being happy and having a rotation squad status. I would also like to post a long rant about the often weird and unlogical (and broken) QOL designs in this game, but I don't have the mental energy for that right now. Plus, I hope those will be fixed with the FM25 migration to Unity.
  7. On the second monitor while eating tacos and watching YouTube.
  8. This way SI is announcing this makes me think Osborne effect. I mean, will people skip FM24 and save their money for the probably better, cooler and sexier FM25? Anyway, I'm cautiously excited about the future of this game. I don't care about womens football (chase me down the alley with torches and pitchforks), but I think FM on the Unity platform opens a lot of good doors. Plus, as I've said several times, I think a lot of the current modules need to be scrapped and rebuilt from scratch.
  9. Norwich wasn't in the PL when I got the job, so I have no idea what this lady is on about. It's things like this that makes me feel more and more disconnected to FM.
  10. This is usually the point where I start to cheat in a save... When it's impossible to win because there's always some woodwork, some 6.2 season average goadlkeeper with a 8.0 match, ot a late equaliser in the way. Depressing.
  11. Why do my fans get angry when I sign a 18 year old player to fill up my stinking rich Newcastle youth team? Why do they even care?
  12. Kazuyoshi Miura shows up as 23 yrars old in my saves?
  13. So, not sure if this actually is a data issue as I've never seen the kid play in real life, but Onurhan Babuscu at Gaziantep FK has 1 for passing which seems a bit odd given he has 13 for vision and good stats and PA overall.
  14. Unless you are on some early access or beta test, there's no 23.2 database out yet, only the one you have.
  15. I 100% agree with this. I play FM to relax after a hard days work, not to have another 2 hours of chores and stress. That said, I understand a lot of players want FM to be as hard and realsitic as possible, and SI will never be able to satisfy both groups with the same game.
  16. Right now I'm using a 4-1-2-2-1 (IE four defenders, one DMC, two MC:s, two wingers and one striker).
  17. So, I've asked this before in here but still don't get it, so here we go again... Regardless of what team I am, no matter the players, I always lose to teams that use this disgusting abomination for a tactic:: You know, the one with two DMC:s. I am currently Salzburg in the Austrian Bundesliga, and Every. Singe. Team. meet me with this nasty little piece of cat litter content, and I cannot for the life of me deal with it. I have players that should win against these teams with a severe hangover and two sprained ankles, but no. I hardly get any shots on goal, and even if I do, their goalkeeper saves it. If I ever score goals, it's mostly from set pieces or penatlies. I've tried different tactics, different mentalities, different instructions, different players, but nothing works. Quickly passing the ball over their defense? Not working. Slowly and sexy build up the attack and wait for an opportunity? Not working. It's cursed. My players do everything except what i expect a capped and experieced player to do. They act confused and like this is their very first time playing soccer football ever, and they either pass the ball between them until they lose it to the opposition, or just straight up howl the ball halfway over the pitch to the feet of one of the players from the other team so they can start a devastating attack. It's like a sad dance of clowns. I don't know what more to try. Should I just accept defeat and cry in the bed with a extra large pack of Ben and Jerrys? Uninstall FM and look for something less unforgiving and stressful? How do you deal with this? Please explain it like i am a little dumb toddler with no knowledge of the intimidating world of FM tactics. Some FAQ:s based on my earlier attempts in here: What tactics have you tried? Probably all of them. Gegenpress!!!1 Not the silver bullet. What team shape/mentality/instructions have you tried? If there's a button or a slider in the instructions, I have tried it (with the tactical knowledge of a dumb toddler). What kind of players do you have? Most of them are hard working, disciplined, capped, sexy, skilled five star players in the Austrian Bundesliga, but if I need a certain kind of skillset in the team to win, I am prepared to buy other players. Are your players complacent/unhappy/untrained/whatever? Not from what I can see, Can you upload your save game for us all to laught at? I rather not. Are you an tactical illiterate? Why yes, yes I am.
  18. Still don't understand how "FM is too easy". I started a new save with Salzburg and I am now watching my five star players losing match after match after match against inferior teams. Five in a row so far. They all meet me with the same weird boooooring defensive Mickey Mouse tactic, and there's absolutley nothing I can do about it. My players are doing the exact opposite of what I want them to do, the heat maps and walls of text that is there to "help" me are confusing and intimidating, and if I ever manage to get a shot at their goal, there's always an offside or a 5.8 season average goalkeeper with the save of the year to stop the fun. Listen to my idiot assistant manager, you say? The guy with tactical knowledge 20? Well, nothing he suggests work. Fact is, I do better (read lose with fever goals) if I completley ignore his nonsense. No exaggeration, this game will give me an aneurysm one of these days.
