Really like what I've seen from the ME so far. Love the new gesture player animations on the pitch, like players waving and pointing.

I mean, I have had one single keeper injury in, like, four beta saves so far. But I'm one of those guys who thinks there are too few injuries in FM overall.

I just had a goalie injuried during a match.

The media part is boring and repetitive, just like in real life I guess. I can live with that. The player interaction, however... I remember when Miles said something along the lines of "This year the FM players will really feel the consequences of player power" before a FM release some years ago, and sure enough, players rebelled at every and any reason. My first interaction with the team was very much like "Hello, guys. Have some pizza. I am the new manager. My name is J..." " We hate you!" And then every other day we had the "Squad is unhappy"-meeting where we all sat in a big circle and agreed I am a stupid poop head. Granted, it has been tuned down after that (even though the FM24 beta seems to have it tuned up again), but player interactions still just feels broken, annoying, tedious and artificial, and I scum save the living daylights out of this game to aviod the drama.

... and there's the Squad unhappy with the situation... Right. Back to Cities: Skylines.

End of first season with a middle of the table Championship team, and so far five players thinks they deserve a big wage rise. I have transfer listed them all.

This is very confusing. People in the Feedback thread say you can still make the game land on the squad for international teams rather than the Overview screen, but I can't get it to work. Just to confirm, this is an deliberate change for FM24? Because it does not work like it did in previous versions of FM. Preferences -> Team Screen -> Landing page -> Squad? Works for clubs, not for national teams.

But I have Squad selected under Team Screen landing page, and I still get the national team overview when clicking on a nationality.

Where? My brains are destroyed from 13 years of boxing, so I have no memory of if or how I did it in FM23. I've searched for "landing" in the preferences, but I can't find anything relevant.

Unless I misunderstand something, you made it so clicking on a players nationality takes me to the nation overview page instead of the national senior squad like it was in all previous versions of the game. Why?

How do I get FM to land on the squad screen and not on the profile screen when I click on a nation?

Wife is out shopping. Come on and release that Beta and give me 20 minutes of sweet, sweet uninterrupted gameplay. No chores, no talk, no drama. Just me, FM and a cup of tea. I won't get this chance again.

So... I was going to update my PC for FM24 a few months ago, but decided to wait for Intels 14:th gen processors. Internet says October 17:th, but isn't it awfully quiet about them if they are only days away? Should I just buy a 13700K?

Just purchased the game on Steam, so bring it on.
