0-0 is a great result for England tbh.
tied for 1st-2nd on 4 points with the Czechs but they are ahead of us on GD. So we can play out a bore draw between us and shore up 2nd place and let them win the group, and it will keep the others in 3rd-4th if we collude. Or we can go and attack the game and have topping the group in our own hands.
if you’re one of those that looks ahead to potential opponents and wants to try and choose your half of the draw... basically sets us up perfectly

Might as well chuck Grealish on and see if he can win us a few more free kicks, this ref has already given about 800 fouls and Scotland can't defend the aerial balls.

EUROS PREVIOUS: Croatia v Czech Republic
I was there in Saint Etienne for this group stage clash in 2016. Croatia were closing in on a 2-1 victory when their fans started chucking flares onto the pitch down the other end from us. Some protest about their FA if memory serves, @GunmaN1905 will explain I'm sure. Anyway after it restarted Croatia gave away a last minute penalty and ended up drawing 2-2. Still won the group but it meant they had to go and beat Spain on the final matchday to finish top.

Yeah if it stays like this Poland are out if they lose to Spain. You would have Spain and Sweden on 4, Slovakia on 3, Poland on 0. And if Poland got up to 3 points on MD3 and finished level with Slovakia they would still be 4th on h2h record and unable to finish 3rd.

I would love us to put Portugal or Germany out in the R16. These kids are fearless, they aren’t at all hung up on past failures or thinking about other games we lost to them when they were all still at school.
Another home game at Wembley as well if we top the group, we would beat either of them pretty comfortably I reckon. As long as we don’t get France

0-0 is absolutely nailed on. Qualifies us both in 1st-2nd whatever happens in the other game. Let the Czechs face Portugal/Germany/France and we can go and play Sweden or Slovakia or someone. Gareth's played a blinder.
