  1. I've taken Tonbridge from the BSS to the EPL and haven't picked up a single new rivalry on my club's Information screen. There are some teams I battle back and forth with often, I'd love to see a rivalry develop "officially."
  2. In case some people don't want it "spoiled", highlight this: You must keep a player on your team for 10+ years. (I'm pretty sure)
  3. I've just been offered the USA head coaching job, oddly enough just as my Tonbridge Angels were relegated from the EPL in my 2nd year playing at that level (the jump in opposition talent from CH to EPL is brutal). My question, however, is can I hire an assistant for the USA team or am I still limited to one overall? I accepted the job and couldn't get a team report or any player ratings because I didn't have an assistant to give them, but when I went to hire one it tried to replace my current Tonbridge assistant instead of adding one for the USA team.
  4. I think I have it figured out. I tried again with another player and this time I appealed the denial of his permit. I did not appeal in the first attempt. The appeal was unsurprisingly turned down, but I was this time actually able to sign him. The option was then there to send him to my affiliate feeder club, but when I selected it said something like "Player A cannot be loaned to club" or something similar. No mention of why, or if it was because it wasn't within a valid transfer window for Serbian clubs. So I waited a few weeks, tried again and this time it denied him going on loan again, but now said it was because it wasn't during a valid transfer window. As there is no way to see when the valid transfer window is for Serbian Super League teams in game, I had to look it up online. After waiting until it was open, I was finally able to send the player to my feeder club to avoid work permit regulations. I'm assuming I have to send him on loan for an entire season three years in a row, and that's how he gets citizenship. So I guess it comes down to me not fully understanding how sending players to foreign affiliates works. No need to bother with my save I guess. I just need to do some research and find out how work permits actually work and when they're required.
  5. My club has picked up a feeder in Serbia, to which my Chief Scout recommends to send players on loan to avoid work permit regulations. The player will gain citizenship after 3 years. The problem is I can't do this. I go to sign a player that needs a work permit, and he just fails to get it. No options to send him to the feeder first or anything. Is it even possible to use a feeder club like this in FMC?
  6. My weekly wage budget is $72k for my L1 team. I'm currently spending $60k but cannot resign any of my players because the board has set crippling wage limits on each squad status. Even if I kill off my entire transfer budget and adjust to $90k per week, the limits don't change. They do depend on how high the player's current salary is, with players currently making a lower wage having even lower limits. I'm unable to resign any of my players because of this. What's the deal? My team is in decent financial shape, about $3M in the bank, but have lost $400k so far this season due to taking out a massive loan for a new stadium. Is this loan the cause? I tend to think not, because the board has imposed silly limits on me for short periods before when the club was in fine financial shape. Thoughts? Playing on Classic if it matters.
  7. Iv'e never seen the option, only to request to build an entire new grounds. So it appears I'll just rotate more often and hope the board wakes up! I've got $3M in the bank (U.S.)
  8. Yeah, it would be fantastic if I could get a new pitch. Unfortunately Classic does not give you much control over training, so I can't target strength. I will set my tactics to be more cautious in tackling though and see if that helps, as well as rotate them more often, even though I don't have a very deep squad. Thanks.
  9. Seems a lot more people read this forum than the FMC one, so I'll give it a shot here. Keep in mind I'm playing Classic. I'm at a loss as to what to do about avoiding injuries. In 8 or 9 seasons I've managed to take my BSS team up into L1 but am now constantly losing players to long term injuries. It's always been a problem, but never like this. I currently have 9 players, mostly starters, out with 1 month+ injuries. I know pitch condition can be a factor, but I can't seem to ever find an option to re-lay the pitch or improve the training facilities or anything. I'm still stuck in my original 5,050 seater stadium with a pitch that ranges from Poor condition at the start of the season to Terrible shortly thereafter. I've never even seen an option to improve the training facilities, either. Is this a bug? What's the deal?
