Frankly, I can't remember the last time I had even a decent youth intake, definitely not in quite a few editions. Usually playing as Man Utd or Milan, I've come to assume every youth intake will be trash, and instead just scout other teams' intakes when my own teams' happens. This is obviously with maxed out facilities and junior coaching and everything. Not the end of the world, but does prevent me from even considering some kind of homegrown only save.
