what position/role do you play Jesus in ? He's not working as AF/attack for me...
AF attack, he had two very good seasons, but last season he was very inconsistent. I'm expecting an offer from the Saudi league and I'm tempted to sell him if the offer is right. I have the same problem with Moukoko who is very inconsistent and also injured quite a lot. I have a young brazilian who is supertalented and who will play a lot from now on.

I would strongly recomment Ousmane Diomandé. Not cheap but absolutely brilliant. Bought him and he's been a rock for me. Can play at DM and central defense. Patino is not developing well for me, even though I give him a lot of play time. Gabriel Jesus has been a beast for me. Just won world footballer of the year, before Haaland and Mbappé. :D. Martinelli has developed into an absolute beast.
I had problems with Rambo though. Had to sell him and I bought Courtois at 33 years of age. Bought a promising goalkeeper as backup. Arsenal is just fun to play with.

I think that's ridiculous. Players should be dying to get out there every week. This player entitlement has existed in the game for years and it is quite off putting. "I'm playing too much, I need a rest" absolutely ridiculous.
One after the other player gets this. So annoying.

I'm sorry if this has been brought up already, but in my Arsenal save, a lot of players seem to suffer from constant tiredness. I rest them for a week, they play 1 match and instantly go back to "need a rest". As I tend to not play them then, this has cost me a lot of points.

What bothers me is that once again Man Utd players are hugely overrated. I almost choked when I saw McTominays stats.

Where did you sell them to? They need to be moved out of Italy. Could be something else, the rules are very complex, but that's the first thing to check.
I sold them both to Barcelona. That should've done the trick.

This is very annoying. It says: you can only register non-EU players next season or by selling another non-EU players, but this doesn't work. Rules should be made clearer then.

So I just signed two young non-EU players. I knew I wouldn't be able to register them yet because I had other non-EU players in the squad. So I decided to sell those, but now I still can't register the young ones. Is this a bug?

I went for Sampdoria, all old players, some of the best ones start away on loan and almost no budget. Chairman also wants to sell the team. It took me three seasons to get a decent team together, many loaned players.

I mean because of this and poor squad management and results Juventus was struggling in my FM 20 Atalanta save, no way with this money they could compete with EPL.
True that, players in the premier league are also heavily overpriced in this years version. I have been playing with loaned players for three seasons now, and I still cannot compete with low PL teams. Thank god Inter stay willing to loan Esposito to me. :D.

Prize money for Seria A has been the case for many years I believe but don't really think that they get so little for winning the league tbh.
I was very surprised to see this financial reward. I actually received more for the cup win, something like 4.5 million euros, than for the league.

Hi,
1) It is perfectly normal that you won't get a big prize money for winning the league as the italian SERIE A is not one very rewarding in this regard... Better count on European football cash prize ...
2) I believe it will all depend on the type of the Sugar DADDY, only a foreground (?) one should give you plenty of money ... all other types will just invest in infrastructures or help for a growth in reputation, but in a very limited time extend ...They also can wipe off bad debts but barely more than that ... And those are the most common sugar daddy types ...
Hope it can help you.
cheers
Thanks for the answer, but I chose the foreground one as I wanted to see how this works. I have not seen any extra money. In fact I have not seen any effect from this.

Hi all
I have two questions:
I decided to play with Sampdoria, so I had a challenge with this aging squad. On top of that they have no money to spend so I to start buy loaning players. I am now in my third season and won the league and cup in the third season.
1) Is it normal Italian teams get such low financial reward for winning the league? I got something like 3.5 million euros or something like that.
2) I saved my game in two versions: one with normal budget, being close to nothing and one with a sugar daddy. When does a sugar daddy start showing an effect. I have had zero results from this, in fact, the board are rejecting all demands for extra budget.
Would be great if someone could answer this.

Many of these tactics use the inverted wingbacks. I'm trying to retrain my back into inverted wingbacks but I'm having very little success. Some even complain about this role. Very annoying.

I have been playing with Sampdoria, because I didn't want to start with a big budget club. Anyway, what tactic do you guys suggest for underdog clubs? Been playing with the 4-2-4 but the results have been so so.

I have played fm for as long as I remember. I enjoyed fm 2020 a lot. I decided to start fm 2021 with a serious challenge and I picked Sampdoria in the serie A. I have tried different tactics and roles but I have to say it's not going as easy for me as for many of you. As a matter of fact, sometimes I play extremely well and think I'm finally on the right track, and then lose to crap teams, completely chanceless. I have to admit my team is not strong at all and relies on a 38 year old striker, Quagliarella, to do the business up front, but creating CCC's has been a nightmare. The fun part is trying to sign players for me, so trying to lure players on loan, since I don't have any money to buy players, is thé biggest challenge.
In my first season I managed to get 7th, which was achieved with a lot of ups and downs. What is weird for me this year is the training. Some players are just constantly training badly. The ratings of the players in matches are also quite low, and creating good partnerships seems a nightmare for me in this year's version.

I have a question: Is there currently a good tactic with two strikers and two if's? Would be much appreciated.

Nice work. Just started my annual Arsenal save. Working well so far!
