i've stopped loaning players out in FM20, i dont see no use unless you can loan to someone playing same level as you but giving them first team...as long as your youth facilities and coaches are good, they should be fine....problem is, loaning them out to other teams might stall their development for many reasons...playing bad, playing under bad coaches/manager, training with the wrong influential players could influence him to pick up bad traits/personality

FM20, they have over done it in training, in terms of picking up traits and personality.

Thanks again for all the insight, i haven't played FM for 4-5 years due to lack of time and this topic has helped me so much, thank you and knap and all the people involved for providing us such good guides.

When you have an abundance of good young prospects at the age range of 17-20, would it be better to train them in your club and benefit from your great Individual training style and use them on U18 or U23 or loan them out to lower division clubs in order to get play time?

Do you have a specific target number of attributes until you start focusing on another attribute set? For example, upon reaching 15 Anticipation on a striker, would it be better to switch to say, Passing in order to improve that?

Lastly do you guys assign assman to make mentoring groups?

Rayan Cherki is another one. Develops great

First of all, thanks for all the info you provide on player development! Would you mind explaining something for me in terms of player development?

For example, with Rayan Cherki.. His "natural" position is AML. If , for example, plan on using him as ML in the latest Fire and Water 4-3-2-1 tactic, do I still need to have the upper option on development on his default position? Would it be better to assign Winger(ML/Att) as his Role/Duty?

    Thanks in advance!
