  1. Has anyone been able to offload Poldi without the other Germans complaining about it? I offered him out which lead to Ozil & Mertesacker complaining.
  2. Kings Lynn Town - 14/15 Season Summary Pre season was very interesting - I joined with virtually no staff members so started looking for new staff members as soon as possible. After a lot of careful scouting, my backroom looks like this: http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f179/Sean3h/KingsLynn_StaffMembers_zpsaa79b667.png Competition wise, I won the Skrill North with a couple of games to spare. League table: http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f179/Sean3h/SkrillNorth_OverviewProfile_zpsb29b17f6.png In the FA Cup I lost in the 2nd Qualifying round. I was disappointed to lose that one - lost 1-0 to Chasetown following a sending off in the first half. I lost in the 3rd round of the FA Trophy to Tamworth. The fans were quite pleased with the League win - I even got this news item: http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f179/Sean3h/SeanMcCullough_NewsInbox_zpsc37da4c7.png The board had agreed to up the youth facilities, however cancelled it shortly afterwards due to a lack of funds. I want to get these up as quickly as possible so I can start producing my own players. 3. Starting the challenge again after losing interest last time. I will be managing King's Lynn Town. Profile: http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f179/Sean3h/SeanMcCullough_OverviewProfile_zps513cf2e8.png I need to completely fill my backroom as I only have an assistant manager at the moment, so signing players may have to wait.
  4. He's been playing AMC as AP/A. Has been linking up great with Giroud and making bursts into the box.
  5. Just thought I'd share how Gnabry has developed for me - due to injuries in the first season he has played an awful lot for me. Attributes: http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f179/Sean3h/231670_screenshots_2014-06-06_00001_zpsa03e09d5.jpg Stats over 2 and a half seasons: 103(16) apps 59 goals 41 assists Awards: EPL Team of the Week x17 Young Player of the Month x5 Player of the Month x2 3rd in Young Player of the Year x1 Champions League Golden Boot x1 Champions League Dream Team x1 Club World Cup Best Player x1 Golden Boy x1 Footballer of the Year x1 EPL Team of the Season x1 I think this is the happiest I've been (in any FM game) about developing a player. Serge is someone I rate really highly IRL so I'm glad that I'm able to develop him like this. I have so far had him tutored by Rosicky & Wilshere.
  6. I'm going to start this with King's Lynn town - the place of my birth. http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f179/Sean3h/231670_screenshots_2014-01-23_00001_zps03bc196d.jpg
  7. I'm looking to move to a 3-4-3, and ideally move towards a tactic using a libero in future. Could you guys give me some advice on whether the guy in the screenie below is worth getting to develop for the role? http://cloud-2.steampowered.com/ugc/633038424703555315/07836AE4453959DB05FE24E617E65CC5EE6208E6/
  8. One of my friends friends now plays for Nottingham Forest I think (Matt Regan)
  9. Lowestoft Town F.C 2018/2019 Season I wanted survival, and ended up a point off a top half finish. If the chairman backs me with more money in the summer I'm aiming for Europe next year. The loan signing of Cristiano Ronaldo was a nice surprise, and he chipped in 4 goals and 4 assists - not too bad for a 35 year old playing wide on the right. Yaya Toure and Laurent Koscielny also impressed despite their age. League table: Lowestoft league position throughout the season: Transfers: Top scorer: Hezi Israeli with 15 goals in 30 (6) games Top assister: Nick Powell with 8 assists in 41 (1) games Top average ratings: Carl Jenkinson - 7.24 from 46 games - 1 goal, 5 assists Laurent Koscielny - 7.23 from 40 games - 0 goals, 2 assists Nick Powell - 7.15 from 41 (1) games - 8 goals, 8 assists Aims for next season: Europe. 10. Lowestoft Town F.C 2018/2019 Season Very pleased with this season. I was only looking like play off candidates for a while, but ended up snatching top spot after a dramatic final day! League table: Lowestoft league position throughout the season: Transfers: Top scorer: Max Clayton with 29 goals in 44 games Top assister: Jay Emmanuel-Thomas with 8 assists in 38 (1) games Top average ratings: Max Clayton - 7.40 from 44 games - 29 goals, 4 assists Carl Jenkinson - 7.38 from 43 (1) games - 3 goals, 6 assists Eric Dier - 7.29 from 46 games - 3 goals, 2 assists Aims for next season: Survival. 11. Lowestoft Town F.C 2017/2018 Season A bit of a mixed season. It started pretty poorly, but the players pulled it round. Again boosted by the money, we finished 3rd (promoted via playoffs) after being predicted 13th. League table: Lowestoft league position throughout the season: Transfers: Top scorer: Max Clayton with 17 goals in 35 (4) games - close behind was Benik Afobe with 15 goals in 26 (5) games. I think the main reason for my relatively low scoring strikers was that I rotated them around a fair bit. Top assister: Kenneth McEvoy with 9 assists. Gael Birgirimana, Danny Guthrie and Benik Afobe all had 8 assists. Top average ratings: Hervé Mathijs - 7.38 from 23 games. 1 assist. Ryan Edwards - 7.30 from 52 (1) games. 3 goals and 2 assists. Aims for next season: I'm hesitant to try to take the championship by storm. I'll be happy with mid table in the championship next season. 12. Lowestoft Town F.C 2016/2017 Season Another good season. Predicted 17th, finished top. I had the money to spend again and brought in some good players. I had a relatively poor start to the season but steadied it at the end. League table: Lowestoft league position throughout the season: Transfers: Top scorer: Devante Cole with 23 goals in 40 (2) games - close behind was Benik Afobe with 22 goals in 43 (1) games Top assister: Benik Afobe with 14 assists Top average ratings: Chuks Aneke - 7.31 from 37 games. 2 goals & 4 assists. Benik Afobe - 7.28 from 43 (1) games. 22 goals and 14 assists. Devante Cole - 7.25 from 40 (2) games. 23 goals and 9 assists. Billy Bodin - 7.22 from 39 (1) games. 13 goals and 10 assists. Aims for next season: Promotion again. 13. Lowestoft Town F.C 2015/2016 Season Good season all the way through. I was predicted 13th, but as I'm owned by a tycoon there was no way I was settling for 13th. I splashed a fair bit of cash for this level (and probably for most levels up to the championship) but brought home the title on the last day of the season. Never in doubt really. League table: Lowestoft league position throughout the season: Transfers: Top scorer: Devante Cole with 21 goals in 33 (5) games - close behind was Harry Ferguson (regen) with 20 goals in 33 (1) games Top assister: Shane Jennings with 12 assists in 14 (13) games, he also chipped in with 14 goals Top average ratings: Jordan Keane - 7.35 from 43 (2) games, chipped in with 3 goals and 5 assists from CB Harry Ferguson - 7.32 from 33 (1) games, 20 goals and 9 assists (ST) Devante Cole - 7.31 from 33 (5) games, 21 goals and 11 assists (ST) Matthew Regan - 7.31 from 34 (3) games, 2 goals, 0 assists (CB) Aims for next season: Promotion again. With the money behind me I cannot see why I can't push up through the leagues each season. Season League Position Achievements 2013/14 BSN 4th Promoted via playoffs 2014/15 BSP 19th Survived administration & avoided relegation 2015/16 BSP 1st Promotion
  14. Lowestoft Town F.C 2014/2015 Season After a disastrous start to the year (for numerous reasons) we turned it around and finished just outside of the relegation zone. My board agreed to build me a new stadium at the end of last season before putting me into administration (getting me docked 10 points) and leaving me with a transfer embargo. Luckily, a nice tycoon decided to come along and bail me out. He injected almost £18m into the club, giving me a transfer budget of around £7.5m (which unfortunately I could hardly use as I was only able to offer players £875 a week) - regardless, the team pulled through in the end. League table: Lowestoft league position throughout the season: Transfers: Top scorer: Dereece Gardner with 18 goals in 25 (8) games Top assister: Lee Smith (again) with 14 assists Highest average rating: Daniel Boateng, 7.10 in 35 games (2 goals, 2 assists) Aims for next season: I'm really hoping to push on next year. Assuming my chairman trusts me with money again, I will be trying to splash the cash to ensure promotion. Otherwise, mid table with an outside chance of hitting the playoffs would be my target. Season League Position Achievements 2013/14 BSN 4th Promoted via playoffs 2014/15 BSP 19th Survived administration & avoided relegation
  15. I'd have thought this would need to go into the Arsenal thread, but I've not seen Gnabry develop too much.
  16. Getting quite annoyed with ex Arsenal youngsters! I offer them contracts, they aren't interested, then they sign for bss sides for half the amount!
  17. Have tried asking the board for a higher budget - no luck. I can't seem to get the option of board negotiations for any of the players I am after. Have hired a DoF but they don't really seem to be doing much at all. I managed to scramble in 3 or 4 free players just before the free transfer deadline but I am not at all happy with the shape of my squad.
  18. I have bumped my wage budget up to around 58k. but I am only able to offer 875 a week - most players I am interested in want more.
  19. £7.75m transfer budget. In the BSP. I would be in heaven if players wanted to join me!
  20. Really struggling this season. I'm in the BSP and despite having a new chairman who has injected £18m into the club, I find myself bottom of the table on -6 points after 10 games and struggling for players. I'm unable to stick with a constant formation due to how thin my squad is. I'm starting to think that dropping back down to the BSN & rebuilding there is a good idea.
  21. I'm being targeted by a tycoon for a takeover apparently. Despite my old board deciding to build me a nice 8.25m stadium (not sure where they got the money from) they got me a -10 point deduction in the BSP. I have hardly any players (wasn't able to renegotiate with my old ones in time) so I've got a bunch of my useless youth players filling in for the few senior players I have left. Fingers crossed this tycoon takeover goes through!
  22. PROMOTION! Very pleased with the team - we managed to achieve promotion via the playoffs in our first season. As you'll probably see from the league table - I got an awfully high amount of draws. I was playing a 5-2-2-1 formation for most of the season so would up getting quite a few 1-1 or 0-0 draws. Top Goalscorer - Jack Defty with 17 goals in 34(4) games Most Assists - Lee Smith with 17 assists in 43 games (also chipped in with 12 goals) Highest Rating - Lee Smith with an average rating of 7.18 Smith was probably my best player, and this was recognised by the fact that he was given the "Player of the Season" award for the BSN. Aims for next season - I've already got Papa Bouba Dip and Ian Harte coming in, hopefully they will drag my team through the BSP despite their ageing legs. EDIT: Thought I needed to add something to this, look!! Was not expecting this at all! 2nd EDIT: I am now almost £3m in debt and close to administration. Thank you board for building a new stadium and lumping me with debt!
  23. http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f179/Sean3h/SeanMcCullough_OverviewProfile.png Thought I'd give it a go. I have taken over Lowestoft Town FC!
  24. I'm trying to develop Gnabry in a game that I have just started. Due to how low his stats are I can't see him being a starter for me but I imagine he'll become a good backup.
