Ireland hit the bar 4 times in a minute against San Marino:

"I'll just score while everyone else is arguing."
Unfortunately, there was no such fun on the 2D pitch view... Just my left-back scoring from a rebound.

A few FM08 screenshots...
The worst signings of the season were sensible and stable signings.
Those overall ratings don't make sense...
(It's probably a bug with grey teams - 30 clean sheets in 30 games?!)

I've just seen this on FM2008.
I think the poor referee needs glasses...

Yup - Argentina came back from 5-0 down to lead 6-5, before France got a late equaliser.
Also, at the bottom of the screen, I got a "whatever words that were said at half-time appear to have worked" when France got their equaliser...

first one would never happen irl
and the secound one...well......i think our record is 4 managers in one session (04/05) irl
I'm sure you gave all of them longer than 3 days at the club, though!

Manager swapping must be fun...
I think this chairman is a little trigger-happy. Sure, Roma are struggling financially, but they've gone through 6 managers in 3 years, and their latest one lasted 2 days! Oddly enough, it coincided with a hammering by my top-ranked Triestina side, but then again, Roma were never going to get any points out of that game...

I did not check his dirtiness attribute.

Off-topic....but can you tell me which skin that is you're using?? Looks top.
Flex, for Football Manager 2008.
And that screenshot really ****es me off now. Scott Richards He keeps scoring against me in the annoying Sampdoria 3-4-2-1 which I can't find a tactic to use against them to break it down reliably (I've been relying on long shots and my star striker to single-handedly do the job in recent years).

Seriously. Is there any point to this sort of tactic?
Ian Emery completed nearly the same number of passes as the entire opposition combined (177 passes).

I believe the reason he looks so annoyed is because he just left Berlin.

I suppose you mean the "In superb condition" part?
Nah...

If ever there was a tim ewhen FM was so off the mark compared to RL, this is it... when the hell has Babel scored 2 in a match, let alone 8!!!
Babel is incredible in 8.0.2. On my game I remember him as Liverpool's most productive goalscorer besides Torres.

He's Red HOT!!
Brilliant.

He'll at least be able to talk with Colin-Kazim Richards.

It's safe to say that this was 88 minutes of roughly nothing and 2 minutes of madness at the start and end of the game.
Catania were woeful, no shots at all, but parking the bus is effective.

Ouch! That would hurt...
mmh.. thats some really nice profit. Those sell on clauses are epic.
Yeah it's hard to sell players in FM2008 but I don't really need the cash (£900m in the bank plus I make a profit 9 times out of every 10 transfer windows), so I usually sell players for cheap plus 50% sell-on clauses.
This one was really weird though. Joined as a youngster but needed first-team football on loan to really develop. Loaned out to Empoli twice but didn't score more than 20 goals on loan. Sold him and he proceeded to rip apart the league (destroyed my two world-class centre-backs too, the only good part was that my strikeforce was much better than Empoli's back three especially without one of my loanees) and finished top-scorer (or second-top, can't remember, none of my strikers got anywhere near him ). Sod's Law. Saving grace was the sell-on clause I suppose, where he will be away from Serie A and me, until I meet Arsenal in the Champions League (same half as them this season).
Was considering buying him back but took their other striker instead (a bit taller than this guy, plus I didn't need pace), so Empoli made a ridiculous profit in the transfer window. Didn't spend a penny yet are comfortably 6th and still smashing teams comfortably. The manager really knows what he is doing...

Came across...
No influence, poor decision making, poor teamwork; who'd've thought!
AnderlechtClub Brugge
Standard
Zulte Waregem are all my feeder teams so it may be time for FIFA, UEFA and the english and Belgium fa to do something
Yeah sometimes I have fun with feeder clubs too. I used to pretty much dictate where they finished - if I wanted them to finish low (i.e. reputation too high => feeder club link terminated) I'd give them nobody, but if I wanted them to be promoted I'd send the cavalry over. Used to have 3 feeder clubs in the same league as me in FM08 and I used to send players over to them to try and get 3 other clubs relegated instead of them.
