  1. Not a bug. Unless there's a recall clause in real life you won't be able to recall them.
  2. Valencia would be a pretty good bet. GK: Diego Alves - 29 Yoel (on loan from Celta) - 26 Defenders: Joao Cancelo (on loan from Benfica) - 20 Ruben Vezo - 20 Shkodran Mustafi - 22 Lucas Orban - 25 Joao Pereira - 30 Jose Gaya - 19 Antonio Barragan - 27 Nicolas Otamendi - 26 Midfielders/Wingers: Filipe Augusto (on loan from Rio Ave) - 21 Sofiano Feghouli - 24 Dani Parejo - 25 Javi Fuego - 30 Pablo Piatti - 25 Bruno Zuculini (on loan from Man City) - 21 Andre Gomes (on loan from Benfica) - 21 Rodrigo De Paul - 20 Carles Gil - 21 Robert Ibanez - 21 Strikers: Alvaro Negredo (on loan from Man City - will be made permanent) - 29 Paco Alcacer - 21 Rodrigo (on loan from Benfica) - 23 Southampton would still fit the bill, yes. OUT: Artur Boruc - 34 IN: Fraser Forster - 26 OUT: Luke Shaw - 19 IN: Ryan Bertrand - 25 OUT: Danny Fox - 28 IN: Matthew Targett -19 OUT: Jos Hooiveld - 31 IN: Tobias Alderweireld and Florin Gardos - both 25 OUT: Adam Lallana - 26 IN: Dusan Tadic - 25 OUT: Gaston Ramirez - 23 IN: Sadio Mane - 22 OUT: Pablo Osvaldo - 28 IN: Shane Long - 27 OUT: Rickie Lambert - 32 IN: Graziano Pelle - 29 Of course, Boruc's short term loan to Bournemouth haven't been done on FM14 and Kelvin Davis 38 years old.
  3. I'd say Pellè would work very well as a complete forward.
  4. Hm, is Rodriguez really suitable at right wing? I know it'd make sense but I can't remember seeing him play there. I'm thinking Koeman will use Jay on the left and Tadic on the right with Davis/Ward-Prowse between central midfield and Pellè, or Tadic in that role with Jay and Mané on the wings.
  5. PC/MAC version had the exact same bug as described in the above but it was fixed in a patch.
  6. Yeah, another example would be Ricardo Moniz - regurarly picks up top jobs in England on my saves. In real life he was sacked by Ferencvaros at the start of December. On my saves he's gotten jobs at Man Utd, Tottenham and Liverpool.
  7. No, Norwegian, but I'm guessing they were attracted to me due to my achievments in Belgium.
  8. Right, after being sacked after five seasons with Standard Liege where I ended second in the league three times, won the league once, and ended fourth in the league once, I can't seem to get a new job. I've applied for the following managerial positions: Swansea (Championship) Huddersfield (Championship) Augsburg (2. Bundesliga) RB Leipzig (2. Bundesliga) Las Palmas (Segunda Division) Atalanta (Serie A) Empoli (Serie B) Braunschweig (Bundesliga) Hoffenheim (Bundesliga) Anderlecht (Pro League) Düsseldorf (Bundesliga) Genoa (Serie A) Sochaux (Ligue 1) Udinese (Serie A) NEC (Eredivisie) Crystal Palace (Championship) Monaco (Ligue 1) Wolfsburg (Bundesliga) HSV (Bundesliga) Twente (Eredivisie) So, after all of these applications, only Anderlecht invited me for a job interview. They ended up appointing Marcelo Bielsa instead which I completely understand given his managerial experience. But come on, I have Champions League experience. Over half of the clubs listed above could only dream about having a manager with similar experience. The worst thing is that maybe 30% of the clubs listed above appointed their assistant managers with no real managerial experience at all instead of inviting me for at least a job interview. Anyone else in a similar situation?
  9. Turns out Gandy is right, it's not a recognized country in the game. My scout reports only showed Basque players when they actually found someone though! Thanks though!
  10. So, my scouting reports end up empty 90% of the time because I can't specifically send my scouts out to search for players with Basque background.
  11. Wages is one thing but the appearance fee (and often unused sub fee) demands are just plain silly.
  12. http://i.imgur.com/7N2BEos.png England are playing two very random friendlies against random Brazilian lower league teams just before the WC.
  13. The difference between playing at home and away are excessive. Everyone plays like Barcelona at home. I've tried different away tactics based on the opposition, but no luck. I'm in my second season now - Won all 5 home games in the Premier League Away: Reading - Arsenal 2-1 Newcastle - Arsenal 1-0 Wigan -Arsenal 4-2 West Brom - Arsenal 5-0 I have no chance, really. My goal at Reading was in the 92nd minute so that one is quite irrelevant. I'm being outplayed by much lesser players than my own. Weird thing is that I always win shots on target and possession stats.
