At some point in every save in every edition this gets me confused. As an example I have a 6 foot striker with 18 jumping and a 6,3 CB with 16 jumping so in theory I would put the taller player into my set pieces in this case the CB, am I doing this completely wrong?

my mind was recently also blown when I found out youth facilities weren't training my youth players!

My experience so far, Took over Ajax for 3 years and built an absolutely killer team, 3 domestic trebles, Then took over Willem 11. First year finished on 77 points with Ajax but they won on goal difference, Season to they hit 92 points to my 82 may be a slow process to topple but year on year I am improving it keeps me going.

You have him on a long term contract so as has been said just ride it out, I tactic I have employed previously is to send the guy out on loan if his having a negative impact on your team by his performances, A lot of the time they come back happy.

[A Brentford B Team approach on FM?]

I have had a bit of a play with Brentford in this version, Initially when I saw the B team had no fixtures was concerned that I would have players that would just stagnate.

To my surprise through playing friendlies and some first team games here and there the progression rate was still pretty good, Completed 4 seasons with them.

Man, I would never spend that on any player, Still far to easy to get excellent youth at pretty decent prices, As to answer the question the most I have spent on one player in 21, 44 million on Dwight McNeil 3 seasons in.

On 20 it was 63 million on Ansu Fati again 3 seasons in with Ajax

I have only played 2 games so far, Playing as Brentford sitting 4th, Have beat Arsenal 2-0 away and QPR 1-0 at home, Had just come off 2 straight defeats before update

One thing I have noticed is that my wingers and full backs are getting their crosses in rather than hitting against player, and also more nice short passing than before

Did you not offer a full pro contract when signing him, this would have him locked in until pro contract is then signed and stops losing him through frees

As a general rule I just ignore the stars, It's all about the attributes as far as I am concerned as well as consistency and how professional they are
