  1. Thanks for the reply. I'll try this later. The game doesnt only crash when saving though. Is this likely to resolve crashing at other times too?
  2. And again This time again while saving. Causes my laptop to fail and restart. Something to do with Nvidia driver. There was an update the other day but it made my game really laggy and unplayable so I rolled it back to the previous version. FM 2019 v19.1.2.1161578 (2018.11.11 10.49.12).dmp
  3. Happened four times in the last few days and another few times sporadically before that. Has happened during a match, while processing after I've pressed continue and the last time while saving which has corrupted my save file. Hope I've attached what you require. Any assistance is appreciated - the game is unplayable for me as it is! 4. I dont think you can terminate loans in the first 28 days. You should be able to after that.
  5. I've been reading this thread since FM17 came out a year ago but still not pulled the trigger and bought a laptop. Not played since '15 and no idea what I'm buying so don't want to spend money and end up with a slow performing machine. Willing to spend up to £750-850 and only want it to play FM as quickly and smoothly as possible. Any recommendations?
  6. Been using this with Leeds. Started off really badly and I was rumoured to be one game from the sack! But as the team got more familiar with the tactic we improved and I'm unbeaten in 10. Gone from 22nd up to 7th. Scoring isnt a problem and I've only failed to score once this season. Letting in quite a lot though, notably five in a 5-5 draw with Charlton! And struggling to see games out too, often going two up only to end up drawing. Edit to say most goals conceded are coming from out wide... about 80% of opposition assists coming from wide positions.
  7. Do any of you that are past the second season have any cheap suggested signings? Promoted in first season but went a bit overboard on 48 month deals so now I've only been given £2.5mill to spend. Need 2 DCs, LWB, CM (2 if possible) and an SC. Trying to sell players to raise money but I only get 10% to spend so I'm not going to have much more to spend!
  8. Yes, I'm currently trying this out. Started a save with Leeds, brought in players I thought were suitable but ended up 20th and sacked in November! Thought I'd have more luck with a top flight team so been using it on a Newcastle save now. Sold a lot of players and brought in Subotic, Wellington Nem, Jovetic, Kjaer, Nainggoglan, Gokhan and a few youngsters that havent featured much. Currently 4th, 3 points off top with a game in hand after 15 games. I was conceding too often fromm set pieces but that seems to be ok after setting match prep. Got to say I'm pretty happy with how its working now. I get bored easily when I start with a Prem team though so I may have to try and work out how I can get it working with Leeds!

  11. Still lots of people having a go at this. Good stuff. I've just finished another season with Kuban. I want to move on now as there is little else I can acomplish. I fancy Serie A or the Premiership.
  12. Macclesfield - Blue Square Premier 2011-2012 Media Prediction: 5th Transfer Budget: None Transfers With the club losing money, it was obvious that sales would have to be made. I was happy with the squad that ended last season but when clubs offered cash for players, i had to accept. There were plenty of decent players available on frees so i wasnt too upset about any of the summer sales. Again, full use was made of the loan system and 3 players joined on season long loans. Stephen Connor returned for a second season at the club and Wigan sent Luke Ashworth and Adam Prince our way to give them first team football. This season though, was probably the first where i have not relied on loan players. We could have coped without them but they allowed us much more squad depth. Of the loan signings, Connor was undoubtably the most impressive and he became Macclesfields top goalscorer. Christophe and Higgins were the most impressive permanent signings. These two could be fixtures in the team for years, assuming i can afford to keep them! Transfers In January, the chairman went over my head and accepted a bid for my only left back Martin Slocombe. I had high hopes for him and it was a disappointing loss. I had to act quickly to bring in Michael McCulloch on loan as cover. League The league campaign always looked promising. We made a decent start to the campaign and remained i the playoff spots through to January. From here, our form just got better and at one stage we won 8 games in a row and did not lose in 13 games. This took us up to 2nd in the table by March and gave us real hope of promotion. We were 6 points off top with just a handful of games to go but we had leaders Morecombe to play on the final day. In the end, it didnt matter and a draw at Woking gave them the title with 2 games left. We finished the season in 2nd and will enter the playoffs for the 2nd year in a row. Cups FA Cup:2nd Round (Knocked out by Cambridge United) FATrophy:2nd Round (Knocked out by Ebbsfleet) Setanta Shield:4th Round (Knocked out by Kidderminster) An extremely poor cup campaign. Early exits from the FA Trophy and Setanta Shield and defeat in the FA Cup to a team we should have beat. The board were not happy. Summary Another good campaign in which we just came up short. We really need promotion. Can we do it in the playoffs? The squad is probably better than this time last season and apart from Slocombe, no players left that i would have liked to stay. Squad There has been no improvement in our financial position. I made the club over 300k through player sales and almost 100k through friendlies. This just prevented the situation from getting worse. Something needs to be done but i am struggling for ideas. Last seasons aims - Improve the finances - FAILED - Get promoted - ? Career so far 2007-2008 Stafford Rangers BSP - 16th (Took over in March) 2008-2009 Stafford Rangers BSP - 12th 2009-2010 Stafford Rangers BSP - 13th 2010-2011 Macclesfield BSP - 4th (Took over in October, beaten in playoff semi) 2011-2012 Macclesfield BSP - 2nd Playoff update to follow
  13. Unlucky dafuge - there is only so much you can do when you dont have the opportunity to bring any players in. Turned down Palace, are you hoping for a better offer then or was it just not for you? Good luck fatski, good result in your first match. Lets hope it continues.
