Yeah I know, but it needs to have a 'future stadium move' coded in at the start of the game. Just checking my save ported over from FM23 - we're in Sept '23 and the relocation to Lesser Hampden has been completed. From what I recall, this beta of FM24 doesn't have any plan to move out of Hampden.

It could be because Queens don't have any announced plans for their continued stadium development as yet or confirmation that they're moving back next season. But should definitely have some sort of date in there.

Apparently in FM24 beta Queen's Park are NOT due to move to Lesser Hampden.

I always do a lower league Scottish save. Right now, I've ported over my FM23 Kirkwall Thorfinn save  using a 13-tier mod.

Queens Park are playing at Hampden this year because their redevelopment to Lesser is a total shambles. One stand and one massive exec box before they deemed it too small to house the level of support they believed they'd get this season.

  3. Hey

I'd like to suggest an enhancement to the staff responsibility screen that sets conditions in contracts to remove or add when allowing another staff member to negotiate player contracts on your behalf.

It would be good to have the ability to tell the staff member to not allow "yearly wage rises" when deals are negotiated or to add specific or remove release clauses and bonuses, similar to what we have for the offer out for transfer and loan.

The two extremes of binary in this thread are peak internet.

Either the ref was horrendous and England were screwed or the ref was fine and the English are just moaning.

Of course the answer is actually in the middle. England were unlucky with a few decisions, and didn't get the rub of the green. But thats football. England didn't do enough to win and France did. Job done.

England fans are of course going to moan about it. The same way the Welsh would if it had happened to them. And the French if it had happened to them, And the Brazilians if it had happened to them etc.

It's impossible to know if the Scottish would moan about it because I can't see them being in a similar position ;);) (had to end with some bants sorry)

Shut up...we'll get there eventually, at some point perhaps. :D

Watching it last night, I didn't think the foul on Kane was a penalty, it happened outside the box but it was a foul. The other two were nailed on penalties, why it took VAR for the second one is beyond me. Kane shouldn't be missing that though, you can excuse it if the keeper guesses right and saves it, but to not hit the target from 12 yards is inexcusable, he bottled it under pressure sadly. I thought England were decent this tournament, but I don't think they're good enough to win it just yet. You lose Kane, there is no one coming in that you're confident fills that gap, left back is weak and centre half is pretty limited for top quality, but I think the team will grow and push on if Southgate can get away from picking those that "haven't let me down before" but are not in form or favour. A Euros final, only losing on penalties and a World Cup quarter final is not bad going for a side with Harry Maguire in it. Would love Scotland to be in that position.

Not quite the same but commentators being adamant about something, then seeing a replay the proves them wrong, and then doubling down on it always winds me up. The best ones always admit they were wrong with a bit of humour.

My favourite one was when a ref gave a penalty and Andy Gray was unusually apoplectic about it being a shocking decision. Then they showed a replay that it was clearly a foul and he changed it to “a little bit of contact”, then “accidental contact”, then “the ref can’t even see the contact so he’s clearly guessed - terrible decision. We can’t have referees guessing”.

In the same vein I remember the first world cup where they used goalline technology and Jonathan Pearce and Martin Keown were commentating and Pearce was totally baffled by it and how a goal hasn't been given.

Aah yeah, because I'm sure Scottish people would be well behind us if it wasn't for Lee Dixon...

And the rest of them. Nothing against England as a side, they're alright for a team with Maguire and Shaw in it. If the media stopped their uneducated, unsubstantiated claims that they're the best in the world and "X years of hurt" or "heroic failure" then I'd be quite happy to root for them until they come up against Scotland.
