  1. 3-2 To Barnet at half time after 2 very quick goals were scored including Scott Barratt who smashed it from outside the box after a quick corner and then Poleon scored another goal for Ebbsfleet. We will be marking Poleon tighter in the 2nd half to try stop him from scoring.
  2. Dale Gorman blasts it into the top corner to make it 2-0 to us. The crowd go crazy
  3. Barnet FC Season 1 Review So Far Competitions We have just snuck into the Play Offs. I was a bit gutted we didn't do better as I want to get out of the Conference asap but it is tough. We have managed to get to the Play Offs though so the board and fans are happy enough. We have Ebbsfleet United in the Play Offs first round. Hopefully we can beat and progress. Best players have been Gary Hooper & Idris Kanu. Hooper has scored 24 goals this season which is really good considering he is 35 years old. Idris Kanu has got 10 goals and 10 assists and also had the best average rating with a 7.04 rating. He has probably been our best player overall. Our signing of the season has been Prince Mutswunguma who scored 9 goals and got 7 assists. A great return for a player who cost us nothing. Squad Overview I will post match updates in here for the Play Off game.
  4. Barnet First Season Youth Intake 3 x Elite Talents & 6 x Top Talents. Some mixture of nationalities as well with us having players coming from Australia, Zimbabwe & Nigeria. Anthony Heasley looks really good and I reckon he can definitely play up front for us for a long time. He has already played for the Northern Ireland Under 18's
  5. FA Cup Giant Killing We somehow managed to beat Watford 2-1 in the FA Cup 3rd round. I love a cup game shock with the underdog winning. Gary Hooper turning back time with the 35 year old scoring and assisting for the other goal. What a legend. He has been superb this season. I just got him signed up to a new 3 year contract. I am hoping he keeps on scoring and helps us get up the leagues. We play Swansea in the next round. I was hoping for an away game to a big team to help our finances. We are currently 10th in the league with us being just 2 points behind 6th place Rochdale and 7th place Aldershot Town. We can definitely get into the Play Offs if we carry on with current form.
  6. This tactic to try fit into keeping the players happy with their favourite roles aint working. The season started well with us winning most of our friendlies and the first 2 games of the season but we then went on a massive streak of bad form with us only getting 2 points in 8 games. I will change the tactics and hope the players can fit to the tactics and player roles assigned.
  7. Next Summer Transfers Sorted Mikael Bongili Ndoji a versatile forward player who can play on either wing or up front as a pressing forward. We signed him from Hartlepool for £25k. He has had previous spells at Radcliffe, Aldershot Town, Barrow and Gillingham. Not one for scoring goals but he might be good at giving us a target man to lug the ball to. Next player through the door is Leon Davies who we signed from Braintree Town for £28k. He can play as a right back or centre midfield for now but I will be retraining him as a winger. He has had spells at Southend, Weymouth and Cambridge United. I also signed Kingsley Latham on a free transfer as a back up goalie cover. He isn't very good but will be good enough for this season. Another player from the lower leagues of England with him being a former Farnborough, Gosport Borough and Havent & Waterlooville player.
  8. First Signing Made First signing made was for Prince Mutswunguma who was a free transfer signing that was highly recommended by the recruitment team. He fits what I am looking for with him being a former lower league player with him previously playing for AFC Rushden & Diamonds, St Neots Town, Soham & Haverhill Rangers.
  9. Well this is a bit anti-climatic. I was hoping he would of got a bigger transfer. Oh well at least it has given me a bit of a transfer budget and money to put into the scouting department. Out of the red for now but the projection isn't looking good. We are predicted to be £2.87m in the red by the start of the 2025/26 season.
  10. Barnet On FM2024 Predicted to finish 6th I am hoping to get 6th place at least or higher in the first season. Barnet finished 5th in the league last season so I think the prediction of 6th is easy enough to get. Barnet have Great training facilities, Average youth facilities & Fairly basic youth recruitment. We have no transfer budget so we probably wont be making many transfers in the summer and just focus on what we have so far. Best Starting Eleven This is my starting tactic. I got no idea if it will work out but I have picked the roles the players are best suited for so hopefully it will work out well. Board & Fans Expectations Fairly simple expectations. We just need to develop young players, work within our wage budget and reace the play offs. Hopefully Ronnie Edwards or Ephron Mason-Clark will get a bigish transfer especially Ronnie Edwards because Barnet get 50% of any future transfer Edwards goes to. I will update as I go along.
  11. Barnet FC History Barnet a club founded in 1888 is now it's 135th year of existence. Barnet currently play their football in the Vanarama Conference. Barnet were promoted to the Football League in 1991 after club legend Barry Fry led them to the Conference championship. They have mostly yoyoed between the Vanarama Conference and League Two until they got relegated to the Vanarama Conference in 2018. They have stayed there since then. Hopefully I will change that. Stadium Barnet are nicknamed The Bees and now play in the Hive Stadium which has a 6,500 capacity. Rivalries Traditionally the main rivals for Barnet have been Enfield, Stevenage, Wealdstone, Brentford & Boreham Wood. Barnet Squad ] 1. Sam Sargeant 2. Jordan Thomas 3. Josh Doherty 4. Josh Payne 5. Barnet also had the pleasure of having Edgar Davids playing for them for 2 years from 2012-2014. He was there as Player-Manager. 12. Introduction After having a successful career with Charlton Athletic who I took to the Premiership with me only using players from the youth academy I have now decided to something similar with Barnet after being reccommended them due to their success record of producing good EFL players. I will be mostly just using my youth academy and selling on top prospects to keep the club afloat. I will also look to bring in former Barnet youth academy players and also raiding the English lower leagues as I have a file that lets me manage as low as Level 10 so I will be looking at trying to find the next Ian Wright, Jamie Vardy etc. My next post will be an overview of Barnet FC.
  13. After having a terrible start to Charlton's first season back in the Premiership I have decided to quit the save. I was getting a bit bored of it after I got promoted to the Premiership. I wanted a few more seasons outside of the Premiership first before I ultimately got to the big league. I have enjoyed myself though and I will be back in the EFL soon as I will be starting a Barnet save soon which will be mostly me signing former Barnet youth academy players, players from my Youth Academy or signing the best players from the Vanarama Conference, North and South or lower. I will be posting the Barnet save on the Careers section so feel free to have a look if you want and thanks for following my progress with Charlton.
  14. Nice to see we are getting closer to beating Chelsea in producing the most Premiership players.
  15. Charlton Athletic Season 5 Review An unexpected promotion for Charlton Athletic. I wont lie I feel like it is too soon for us. I would of been happy staying in the Championship a few more seasons but it is great to see the young lads get promotion to the big league. We didn't make it easy for ourselved with us just scrapping into the play offs. I was exstactic we got into the play offs and I would of been ok with us getting knocked out in the Semis but we managed to beat Norwich just about with a 5-3 aggregate win. We drew 2-2 in the home leg and then unexpectingly beat them at Carrow Road 3-1. We then beat Luton Town 3-1 in the play off final to get us to the promise land of the Premiership. Goals from Tyreece Campbell and Henry Rylah was enough to win the final. I have been given a massive £36.83m transfer budget but that will be going into the wage budget. The key men for me was Miles Leaburn as always he was my top goalscorer but with just 21 goals this instead of the whopping 37 goals he got last season. I hope that is not a sign of things to come as he is only 24 years old and nearing his prime years in football. Also I am hoping he can make the step up to the Premier League. Ashley Maynard-Brewer got my best average rating and had a great season in goal for me with 9 Clean Sheets as well. Honourable mention to Aaron Henry who after a few seasons on loan to Crawley, AFC Wimbeldon, Rotherham and Fleetwood he impressed me enough to make him a full team regular and he didn't let me down with him playing 42 games, scoring 4 goals and getting a 12 assists. He was a great replacement for Karoy Anderson. I have no idea what to expect next season. I would like to maybe stay in the Premiership for financial reasons but we are doing ok financially and even 1 season in the Premiership should help us for many seasons to stay afloat.
  16. I sold Karoy Anderson for £12m to a Saudi Arabian team and sold Pantelis Psaroulis to Aston Villa for £10m plus 30% of the profit on the next transfer. I will miss Anderson as he was a key player for me last season but he kept moaning about leaving so I had to get rid. Psaroulis barely played for me and I had other central midfielders so I sold him as I got a good offer from Aston Villa for him. Ideally I want to try make £30m each season from player sales to help the long term debt.
  17. Charlton Athletic Season 4 Review A disappointing season as we finished 10th again which is not what was the plan as I wanted to try push further up the league this season and try get into the play offs. Hopefully next season will be better. We definitely missed Reekie this season. Talking of Reekie I sold his 40% profit on his next transfer for £3.7m. I might regret this if Spurs ever sell him for big money. Reekie ended up going on loan to Blackpool in January and scored 2 goals and got 2 assists in 15 games for them. Our best players were Miles Leaburn who scored a massive 37 goals for the season. He was also our top performer with a 7.20 average rating. Karoy Anderson also was great for us this season with 7 goals and 10 assists for the season. Our breakthrough prospect for the season was Mohammed Sailou who came through our youth intake last season and this season he played 20 games, scored 6 goals and got 6 assists. Squad Overview The financed at the club are not good at the moment with our projections telling us we will be £63m in the red in the next 3 seasons. We are projected to lose £32-£36m each season. We need to keep selling our best players and hope we have enough in the youth ranks to replace them. My aim is to get higher up the league next season and hopefully get into the play offs. The long term aim is to become a regular Premiership team.
  18. I am gutted he has gone so soon as I would of liked another season with him playing for us but he kept complaining when I rejected offers and it was ruining the dressing room morale. £12m plus 40% profit on the next transfer is a really good deal for the club. Rated at £33m-£48m. I will cash in the 40% profit clause asap as I am not confident in Spurs selling him on for a good transfer fee. I have bought back Tyreece Campbell because I sold him for £6m and I had 30% profit on the next transfer but Hull came in with a £6m offer which was accepted so I would of made nothing on the future fee release clause and I needed someone to replace Reekie. Hopefully I can sell him on again for good money. He is valued at £8-£10m now as well which was more then he was valued when I originally sold him. He also fits in nicely with the social groups already at the club.
  19. Yeah he is really good. I think his dad Chris Leaburn played for Charlton as well from what I remember.
