  1. Just for confirmation, I became Chelsea manager and selected my Premier League squad choosing every over-21 player in the squad. No problem at all as you can see in the screenshot.
  2. Just for confirmation: https://www.football.london/chelsea-fc/news/chelsea-premier-league-squad-named-27706006 https://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/liverpool-submit-premier-league-squad-2023-24
  3. That is clearly not true, as you can see by merely looking at the first screenshot. They have already met the homegrown quota (8 out of 25 registered) and yet they leave players unregistered. In real life, Liverpool and Chelsea had absolutely no problem in registering every player in the squad, but not in FM. Clearly a bug.
  4. The tendency of AI managers to sub off players who have just entered the pitch borders on ridiculous and kills the immersion factor. It happens very often, both in friendlies and official games, with no apparent reason. In reality, this scenario is possible, yet highly unlikely.
  5. This is a misconception. When you edit the incidence ratio of an injury in the editor, you only change the probability of total injuries being of said type, not the global number of injuries themselves. So it makes no real effect. The current way to actually increase injuries is giving every player an injury proneness aproaching 20. I have made several tests with this and the game becomes more realistic. However, I would still welcome an official option for realistic injuries similar to what we had in the past (I still play FM13 Classic from time to time and things get really challenging there).
  6. This is not a bug. Stop crying. If you don't like your players being injured, use the in-game editor to heal them and cheat. Goodness me... By the way, I have opened a feature request for 1:1 injuries that actually simulate real-life and I see there are other players also requesting this. I really miss the old times.
  7. Fortunately, I have been able to solve the problem by uninstalling and reinstalling the game. Now the FPS are optimal on very high quality on every view in the match engine.
  8. In the media descriptions of players, full-backs keep appearing as "lateral defensivo". The term "full-back" should translate simply as "lateral" and "attacking full-back" should be either "carrilero" or "lateral ofensivo". Similarly, the media description translation for "winger" should be "extremo", and not "interior". The term "interior" in spanish refers to a central midfielder in a 4-3-3, not to a winger. So, "winger" should always be "extremo".
  9. Yes, this is a game-breaking bug. Also the tendency of the AI to substitute the substitutes borders on ridiculous and kills all the immersion. Moreover, I've noticed that the game has gone from never giving a chance to youth players to throwing away cup competitions puting five or six random younsters in there while descarding first-team members that actually need game time. Is it so hard for the AI to pick one or two top talents and give them some minutes without throwing away competitions? It's the same in the Community Shield, by the way.
  10. Same issue here. Never happened before. Five-star graphics performance and high-end desktop computer with latest drivers yet the match engine is stuttering and with a very poor FPS in every view (even 2D).
  11. Yes. I have replicated the bug and apparently it happens all the time with Petrovic and Adrian (probably with many more players). The files are uploaded as follows: Ad Leverkühn - En paro test bug inicio4.fm Ad Leverkühn - En paro test bug inicio5.fm
  12. I agree, that's why I want more injuries (quantity) in the game. As far as I know, we cannot change this in the editor, as the incidence ratio only states the percentage of total injuries that are of said type, but does not allow you to actually make the total number of injuries more or less.
  13. That's not necessarily poor squad building but unrealistic squad management. That's a known problem along with AI manager substitutions and yeah, I agree it ruins the game in its current form. Just another case of SI actually going backwards from last year's version.
  14. Squad building has indeed improved as far as I can see (specially in the building of U21 and U18 squads, which is FAR more balanced and realistic now, with every major team actually having enough players there), but it's not nearly perfect yet. For me the deepest concern is teams sending so few players on loan. The numbers are ridiculously low. Also, teams tend to have overbloated squads, specially at sub-top level. As far as I can see, they don't get rid of enough free agents at the end of the season, instead keeping players that they will never use. This affects player development because it makes the young prospects less desirable.
  15. AI teams tend to leave keepers unregistered for the Premier League even though they have unused slots. Chelsea does it with Petrovic repeatedly and Liverpool does it with Adrián. Strangely enough they play him in cup games as you can see in the screenshot (?).
  16. Please, fix this bug as soon as possible. It's killing the game for me. The AI either does not make hardly any sub or keeps subbing off players who have just entered the pitch (see picture).
  17. As a veteran of the game who finds it increasingly easy to beat the AI in every league, I think the game should have more injuries or at least give players the option for real-life numbers instead of the current 75-80%. Personally I find it too easy to just give proper rest to players and avoid major setbacks for entire seasons. This makes the experience much less challenging than it should be. Just look at the real world and compare. Top teams are finding it harder and harder to keep their squads fit even with state of the art staff and facilities, and young players are specially prone to injury in their early development. Human players who feel hard done by the game can still play easy mode (current mode) or use the in-game editor to cheat and heal their players. I know i't contrary to SI philosophy to have difficulty levels (and rightly so), but this should be considered at least as a semi-official data file for hardcore gamers.
  18. There are managers in real-life that also tend to do that. The problem has more to do with lack of rest. You can read this article on how the human player can use the Rest tab in Training. The AI should be able to replicate this.
  19. There's definitely a problem with big clubs being unable/unwilling to send players out on loan to improve their CA and reputation. Just compare the initial numbers of loanees in the game with succesive seasons and you get a glimpse of the problem. DaveInci's awards file tends to improve the development of youngsters because it makes them more "desirable" to managers and clubs, but the loan issue persists, as lower league teams would rather renew contracts than bet on a young loan.
  20. This is an issue carried over from previous versions. AI teams get to matches with too low physical condition levels. This makes the game easier than it should be. As far as I can see, this is a combination of AI managers not rotating as much as they should (although this is not the main cause) and, more alarmingly, of not giving proper rest to players in the days after matches. With the proper rest, most players should be able to recover to 90% condition in the 3-4 days between games. Instead, AI players usually get to important games at below 85% condition, and sometimes even at below 75% (see picture). This should be fixed by giving the AI the ability to use the same tools the human player has in the "rest players" tab under training.
  21. Then use the in-game editor to heal your squad. This is supposed to be a simulator. Injuries are already too few compared to real-life.
  22. Injuries are way less than real life. Use the in-game editor if you want to cheat.
