  1. Currently not too bad. Balance is £825k at the start of the 2026 season. The biggest amount I've been in debt by has been £2.2m.
  2. Quick question... is a long back allowed when selling a player?
  3. Royale Union Tubize-Braine: 2025/26 Season Review Our first season in the Belgian top flight was a very tough test and it felt at times like we were way out of our depth. However, we picked up enough points along the way to finish just above the relegation places. Player stats were way off what had been achieved before, however, this was always going to happen in a higher division. The youth intake saw a fair few handy players come in. Last year's intake included a ball winning midfielder already valued at £8.4m. No transfers out but some will be released in the coming week as they never feature in the first team squad. Unfortunately, it looks as though my star striker is off at the end of the season as he's refusing a contract renewal. I'll hopefully sell him beforehand, then get him back on loan for a season. 4. Royale Union Tubize-Braine: 2024/25 Season Review Two promotions in two seasons at the start of the challenge. We did it the hard way though by having to go through the play-offs to clinch a place in the top flight. Some really encouraging stats from a good number of the squad. Top scorer was a 17yo newgen who is steadily improving all round. The youth intake for 2025 saw a few promising youngsters coming through. In particluar a keeper and defensive midfield. No transfers out, however, we had a first choice centre back retire before the season started and we've got our first choice keeper leaving on a bosman. I'm hoping our newgen keeper can fill the gap. I'm expecting the new season to be a tough one as we've probably been promoted too quickly for the standard required. A pre-season game against Charleroi saw us lose 6-1 at home Season history...
  5. Royale Union Tubize-Braine: 2023/24 Season Review After deciding to abandon my Croatian save due to spiralling debts (not sure if a bug), I decided to ignore the bug with the Belgian league and see how it went. First attempt was with Diegem but we won't talk about that (came rock bottom ) Manager's screen We celebrated promotion at the first attempt although it was not looking likely going into the last game. Even then, my keeper decided to throw in a 5.60 rating before I subbed him off and went full attack at 4-2 down. Five goals in five minutes help us scrap a 6-5 win and clinch 3rd spot. There were promising season stats from a few players. Unfortunately, the pool of strikers available to me isn't the best. The youth intake looked promising on paper but most of the recruits have pretty bad personalities so many might not reach their potential. Dumped a couple of players that were taking a bosman and were pretty poor quality In terms of finances, we ended the season £400k in the red so very similar to my Croatian save. Rumours of a board takeover come through on a monthly basis so hopefully the deficit is wiped at some point. Season History...
  6. Beginning to think I might need to bin off my Croatia save due to the club making a huge loss of money every month. I suspect I’m going to end up in a cycle of massive debt = no facility improvements = no decent newgens = no league progress
  7. Sesvete: 2024/25 Season Review Our follow up season saw us with our highest ever finish. However, we were some way off the top two as they sped off into the distance. The average ratings across the squad were nothing to write home about and our goal a game striker from last season was unable to get near his numbers from last season. Our youth intake included many "elite prospects" but in reality our best recruit was another young striker. A few outgoing transfers as I ditched some deadwood/centre-backs with a pace below 6! Season tickets/attendances were up. However, we are hemorrhaging money due to Croatia giving no domestic prize money. Balance is currently -$433k
  8. Also, I'm never getting a better newgen name than this fella...
  9. Sesvete: 2023/24 Season Review Not a bad first season with the challenge. We managed to comfortably stay clear of the drop zone eventually finishing in 4th place. Easily our best player was striker Frano Vlasic who averaged a goal a game. He's only 18yo so hoping we can keep ahold of him. The youth intake wasn't too bad. A few coming through in key positions to bolster the numbers. One issue I might find is that Croatia have a rule where no under 17's can play in senior football. Sold just the one player who was being disruptive due to not getting any game time. Season history
  10. First FM23 youth intake incoming. It will clearly be ****
  11. No, I'm avoiding it like the plague. I've kind of got a work around where I temporarily move my whole squad to the u18's and then use the traditional squad depth screen found under u18's > reports. Players that make the grade are then moved back to the senior squad. Unfortunately you can't select a staff member in the opinion dropdown. Good news is that temporarily demoting the whole squad hasn't come back with the usual player unhappiness (tested with Chelsea, Derby County and Wrexham).
  12. Starting off with Croatia as I was so close to success in FM21 with NK Zadar. Going with Sesvete this time around...
