    Hi Knap, thank you for all the hard work. Great stuff every year!

     

    Back in 2021 I asked you what the best tactic for international management may be. Back then it was whatever had less Player Instructions so there would be a bit more freedom and potentially less to learn. Do you you know if that is still the case with the current ME? Or, do you have a recommended tactic for a national team?

     

    Currently using ME23.2WOFKnap424PSGP112FACC and tried ME23.2WOFKnap4231IWSkewP324 but they do not seem as effective as with my club team.

    Spanish Lower Levels Solving the B Team Problem?

    Hi everyone!

    Hoping you can help with 2 things:

    - Looking for a good Spanish lower level database pack that can get down to the  3rd Catalan league in the hopes of making the FC Andorra B team playable (really, just promotable, I don't even care about managing them). That is their real league position, but in the standard database they are classified as "Regional Division" - The only database I found in this thread on another post only had "Tercera Andaluza Sevilla", so the third regional league in Sevilla instead of having all of the regional leagues including Catalonia

    - Has anyone seen if any lower level Spanish files that do open up more teams actually allow those teams to work as a proper B team, with easy moves in and out of the team up to a certain amount of senior team appearances? From the bug posts I have seen, maybe it isnt even worth it?

    Looking for one last time to see if I can solve this before starting a new game. Thanks anyone and everyone for the help!

    Trialed players not in scouting database

    Hi all,

     

    Working through lower leagues as I have done for years. Using the tried and true Trialing option in lieu of scouting to raise knowledge, then use the scouting "players" interface to sort and sign the best (not even bothered by the 30 player limit, i get it). In this years iteration, a few things are either not in the game or i can't figure it out, hoping someone can lend a hand:

    - Trialists who i have reached 100% knowledge, then "terminated trial" are not coming up as a known player in my scouting database, not at all, even if I uncheck "interested in transfer" which should, by design put every player that we "know" in the pool. none show up - where did they go? I have a chief scout, we reached 100% knowledge, i dont get it. In past games, that knowledge built up by the Assistant, was transferred into the scouting panel. And it isn't like they are not showing up at 100% knowledge, they literally aren't coming up at all, like they have been removed from the database.

    EDIT: After trial and error, it seems that "scouted" players only show up when using the "scouted players" dropdown instead of being included in the "player search" dropdown. Adds a step but at least i can find em now. Mods, is there a check or switch i can hit to include scouted players in the general player search again?

     

    - Has the option to add "scout recommendation" as a column in the custom view been removed? Used to be a color coded 0-100 number and i could sort by it when added to the columns. Can't seem to find it this year

    EDIT: I found the column ONLY when starting the view as Scout - Transfer, then, if I customize that view and make sure to NOT move the "scout recommendation" to the left, i can use it. Still not findable as potentially added columns, but like the above, at least it is a work around. 

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!
