Hi I am playing FM24. I am using my FM23 save, there is a regen player with a swearword as his surname. The f word and his first name is Advaldo so it reads A.F*** which is quite funny lol. Plays in the premier league so hes done well for himself. I have no mods or anything. I wanted to know if thats a proper surname or is it a bug?
There are a couple of Brazilian players with this name so it's possible there's a newgen with this name as it will pick from the name pool. To avoid any offence we can stop this happening to newgens in a future update

"Nor should it be"? If a country has an average height of 6ft tall and another 5'4, this should be reflected in a game that claims to be *realistic*. Height is just for starters...
Height is not a subjective attribute so not talking about that here. Most of the other attributes are subjective and are not based on a nationality but are more influenced by the facilities, popularity of football, economics, level of coaching, the tactical style/player roles preferred by the clubs in those countries.

Newgens tend to have more players of a higher quality depending on different factors such as finances, importance of football in that country, level of training facilities, level of coaching and so on but this does not mean that in any game the next Messi could not come from Costa Rica or any country. It's just less likely to be the case.

Do players of certain nationalities tend to have higher ratings for specific attributes? (For example, do Argentineans tend to have higher aggression; Germans more strength; Brazilians more flair; Spaniards more technique; etc?.).
This is not the case at all and nor should it be

- Repetitive and boring press conferences (with spelling errors, grammar errors and contradicting questions)
With millions of words of text in the game, there are going to be some spelling and grammar errors that slip through our proofreading and testing processes.
If you do see any we'd appreciate it if you could post them in the following topic so we can correct them.

Since any gender can be the "chair" of a club we decided this was a more appropriate term to use moving forward.

Since this happened right after an offsides call, it seems like it should be "... very close to being onside!" Being close to offside when it was offside doesn't make any sense.
The commentator here does not know yet whether the player was onside or offside so they are making a prediction one way or the other with the referee/VAR to make the actual decision if it's onside of offside. Therefore it's correct to use this phrase (and it would also be correct to use your phrase too).

I feel like it's supposed to be "impervious" not "imperious"
It's definitely "imperious" as it means he is dominating in the air.
I can see why you might think "impervious" works with the meaning of not letting anything through but "imperious" is correct in this instance.

Could you be more specific as you are the first person to mention this?
What kind of nouns does it affect? Clubs, Stadiums, Player names?
Have you applied some kind of third party data pack?

For "Boulogne" - do you have a third party data pack?
The short name we use is "USBCO" as it's licensed and the gender works here. If you have a third party data pack that does not amend the associated gender data then you will get this error.
Having re-read this all again you have changed the names so the gender codes no longer match in certain cases so that's the issue. Basically not our bug

Daizen Maeda isn't part of Celtic squad?
Japanese league players aren't licensed in FM and as his full contract is with his parent club despite joining Celtic on loan, we're unable to include him at this time. It is something we're investigating with the aim of adding him in as soon as possible.

Hi,
I may have found a bug with the employees. At least I don't get it.
In English, the Head Performance Analyst and the Performance Analyst are in the coaching staff, the Recruitment Analyst is with the scouts.
In German, the Chefspieleranalyst is with the Gegneranalyst with the coaches, the Spieleranalyst is with the scouts.
Shouldn't it be the case in German that the Spieleranalyst is in the coaching staff with the Chefspieleranalyst and the Gegneranalyst is with the scouts?
Head Performance Analyst = Chefspieleranalyst
Performance Analyst = Spieleranalyst
Recruitment Analyst = Gegneranalyst
Thanks for the report - there is some inconsistency going on here as well as a likely mistranslation of these terms that we will endeavour to tidy up for the next update

I've flagged this to the translation/research chaps who are far cleverer than myself and will deal with it in due course
Can't locate this issue at all so it's either been fixed (but I don't think so as it has no translation so should use the original) or there is an LNC file particular to the mobile code that is producing this typo.

Any chance you can switch to English and paste in a screenshot?

Dr. Jorge Luis Hirschi (ID: 108532)
Padre Ernesto Martearena (ID: 951442)
When you use 'data languague' in spanish, this two stadiums have different name (wrong). I would guess that there are many more of these errors. There is no stadium in Argentina that has a commercial name (e.g. Emirates Stadium or Wanda Metropolitano), so these "translations" are unnecessary.

Thanks for the report. We'll fix these up for a future update
These have old translations in them. With some 60,000 stadiums which will need genders and sometimes translations added to them it's a large task to keep this up to date every year with stadium names constantly changing. The previous system we used for this, it was harder to track what had changed and then update. We have a new system which does this better so this should happen less in the future.

Name of the club has been modified into Kigwancha Sports Club, but in Dutch the shortname is still Locomotive (DPRK) instead of Kigwancha
Fixed now for a future data update. Thanks!

There was a message in the Finland data topics that some of the Finnish cities have not been translated to Swedish. Is there something I could help with translating the missing ones?
I can send you a file.

That's the same as the one above but thanks for the report! Fixed now.

Good spot! We'll get that fixed up for an update

hmm - in UK-English both would be used. More commonly people would say "have" but technically it should be "has"
