    *your skin*/graphics/boxes/custom/background

Pick the transparency you want from the paper files in the download. Rename paper and paper@2x.

It'll make the overlay lighter, or in your case darker, depending on what you pick, so you can see the words more clearly.

is there anything i can do or change the colour because i have done what you have said and there isnt much difference

You'd be far better off getting something cheap but new. A Ryzen 3 2200g/3200g for instance? That would give you a great upgrade path if you find it's not fast enough for you. The onboard graphics should be good enough for FM too. You should be able to find a prebuilt for $/£ 300 or so. A 3200g is about the same speed as your old rig.

Do you have any links to any mate.need all the help I can get.I'm useless with picking computers

What league and dB setup are you going to use when you play?

& What PC / laptop were you previously using for comparisons sake and were you happy with the speed your previous PC processed at?

I like to have alot of leagues selected so I can find the players and I always select medium or large database. As for my computer I have had it for nearly 6 years so it's a bit out of date haha.

Firstly, none of those images actually says what model/speed processor it has.

Secondly, I wouldn't go for it. It's a 2nd generation i5 processor, so regardless of the specific model, it's going to be approx 8 years old, and the graphics card is poor anyway. Even if it ran FM, I'd be dubious on how long it'd last without a hardware failure that puts you back to having to either get a new PC or trying to buy compatible parts to fix it.

What processors are best then. First gen 2nd gen or 3rd gen? Ain't got a clue about any of them

Mate, the first PC you asked about is absolutely fine.

I was in a similar boat to you, I didn't want to spend more than £350 but everyone I seemed to ask for help mentioned spending more so I did, I spent £550 on one that I wasn't happy with before spending £700 at PCSpecialist for another I wasn't pleased with and had multiple faults.

Someone then mentioned to me about a refurbished Dell optiplex and I got one for £120 with 8gb ram, integrated graphics and a i5 3.3ghz processor and I'm far happier with that than any of the more expensive recommended purchases.

I run at least the top 2 divisions in England, Spain, Italy, Germany, France, Holland, Portugal & Scotland with a medium dB and the game has 4 stars and plays lovely.

The PC you linked for £159.50 is fine, you could maybe get something slightly better for a similar price but what you're looking at hits the mark for what you want 👍

Thanx pal. Will shop around a bit. That computer was on ebay so there is a bit of concern there.

Not for £200-250, as anything good enough is going to be either a refurbish or 2nd hand, and whether any of them will be reliable is unknown. Normally the minimum I'd suggest for a solid laptop that'll run FM fairly well would be approx £600.

What's your recommendations for £600?i can scrape that up so not a problem. Also it's got to be a desktop not a laptop

OK thanx you. Do you have any recommendations I can have a look at? I'm not very good at picking pcs.
