[Dedicated vs Integrated Graphics]

Deleted both folders and restarted but it still 'sees' the integrated Intel HD graphics 4600 (attached)

I've had the same problem with the game suddenly crashing on startup and the only solution has been to delete the 'Preferences' folder buried with the application directory. It's pretty annoying as you have to setup your prefs from scratch each time it happens.

[Dedicated vs Integrated Graphics]

I'm running FM21 on a Windows 7 laptop which has both integrated Intel HD graphics and a dedicated Nvidia card.

Despite configuring FM to run using the dedicated card through Nvidia's control panel, the game itself seems to think it is running with the integrated graphics as I received a popup when first starting the game recommending me to update the drivers for Intel HD Graphics. Furthermore, when I go into Preferences and set the graphics quality to 'Recommended for this PC', it sets everything to 'Low' even though I'm pretty certain my dedicated card is capable of much higher quality.

When I actually get into a match, I can set the graphics quality to 'Very High' and everything still runs really smooth (as you'd expect of a decent dedicated card) so I'm not sure why FM itself thinks it's running on the integrated graphics.

It's not a major problem since it does seem to run fine at higher quality but is there a way to absolutely confirm that it's using the dedicated graphics card?
