    This is why I don't get the issues with Kane dropping deep. There's been performances where he's been bad doing that and it hasn't worked, but generally it causes no end of problems for the opposition

    Certainly not wrong, but he's bafflingly static when maguire and stones are on the ball. They've played poorly but their options when trying to pass it out are non existent Goal!

    That and the midfield have got to show better, stones and maguire have no options and either passing to each other, playing it long, or trying to thread it through the eye of a needle. Credit to Senegal though for shutting us right down

    Did Argentina and Spain do a protest before their shock results? Did Belgium? Almost as if shocks happen in football regardless of political stances.

    Yeah at first I thought it was really bad from Giroud but he really fizzes it and all Giroud can do is throw himself at it and hope for the best. It looks like a shocking miss but it's one that's harder than it looks to score.
